Yeah its odd. He tried getting pushy with me when I told him its the Holiday time and I wont be able to ship the return until Jan....I just wanted to make him wait a month :D I know evil. He wasnt too happy about it but got over it.
I followed up every 2 weeks. He was responsive and met...
Yeah it took him a while. The first attempt took about 3 weeks and it was a bit defective on the font. The second attempt took 2 months. He did order highland green paint to match the car which took about a week to arrive but still it did take some time and a lot of followups from me.
I used some text :D
Thanks for the support Bikeman315 you guys are a harsh bunch but fun! :p
Torched10 for the mix it says 300ml for 5.2 quarts of oil. I used 300ml for the 8 quarts recommended and it so far its all good. I took the car for a drive today to C&C and I could not hear any...
Haha hope it doesnt go that route. Its towards the middle of the video. Best way to explain the sound is if you think about injectors firing but much much louder. This removed that noise. So who knows.
As the title says. You guys can hear the noise the car was making towards the middle of the video. Added ceratec and the engine is very very silent now. The tick is also gone. My 18 GT had this tick as well but it wasnt as loud as the Bullitt thats why I decided to give ceratec a try.
Would it work with BMRs product? Maybe you can go that route. I know they are a bit different and not sure where BMR bolts exactly but it could be the same.
It just had everything I wanted and my GT didnt. Manual, the highland green, no spoiler, great interior with the matching stitching, magneride some performance goodies and the deep sound.....oh and the movie.
Yep, we however are arguing opinions. There is no research done with two identical cars on with a catch can and another without comparing them 10k 20k 30k miles and so on. My opinion is that catch cans could help someone that has a lot of blow by but on a healthy car it will have no impact.
I am curious to know how many miles did you have that. It is a lot more than what my catch can collects.
I have a buddy that just checking his catch can. He is on roush supercharger and races his car regularly. He had not checked his catch can for over 5k miles. He had almost nothing in...
How much oil do you think it goes into the intake? People make this sound like gallons of oil transfer to the intake when you drive. In reality its like 0.00000000001 ounce per mile. As I said if you have that much oil going into your intake you might have bigger problems to worry about.
I went the opposite way. From 10 speed to manual. I find rowing the gears myself a bit more fun and engaging. Helps me also not text and drive :D! In my opinion, with the great sound of this engine the manuals make it sound so much better.
