I finally had my oil changed today - had been running on this fill with Ceratec since late August 2018 and have driven just over 10,000km... a little longer than I like to push it, but the world is not going to end over a few thousand K. Also, I'm just using Motorcraft 5W20 full synthetic...
I've had my Phase 1 for about a year and a half now, I was in the same boat as you when I first had it installed. Went back and forth in my mind for months trying to justify spending even more money than I already had and came to pretty much the same conclusion as Ronin... It's a perfect...
Ah, I see what you were saying. To me, your original post read as they can't drive in the snow. Lol. I've seen a number of GT's out during winter near Kitchener and closer to Toronto.. but not many near me.
Yeah I swear they do it on purpose. It's the same kind of deal here too... Speed limit on the highway is 100Km/h (62mph), but the cops will not bother with you unless you're doing 25-30Km/h over. So naturally, most everyone cruises on the highway at at least 120Km/h. The ones that really piss me...
This right here is exactly the reason I run front and rear cams. I find some people drive like complete idiots as soon as they see a Mustang, or any similar car. I don't know what it is.
Where I live, tailgating isn't so much the problem... but people who cut you off . I've lost count how many...
Several long drives with my cloth Recaros, including a few 10-12 hour marathons to the midwest and back. No complaints from me, the seats are really comfortable.
Manual all the way. I don't care if auto may be a bit faster, I'd rather feel connected to the car. As a bonus, it's a built-in anti-theft device. Lol.
You won't have any issues. The track I first ran my car at was a bit sketchy and had a pretty short and rough runoff area - maybe a little over 1/8th mile - followed by probably about 300' of gravel. My car was completely stock then - a non-PP GT (no Brembos). No issues at all, was trapping at...
Also look at this video - this Focus RS has a blown head gasket. Way more white smoke than yours. Also listen to how rough it runs - one cylinder is misfiring for the first little bit. Nothing at all like yours. If you are really paranoid, take it to the dealer and have them inspect... but it...
Have you pulled your dipstick to look at the oil? Is it milky? If coolant is getting into the oil, then the oil will look like a chocolate milkshake. Is the car running like crap? If the headgasket is blown then you'll also likely have misfires and the car will be hard to start.
Scoche and Metra are the only two I've found that offer a double-din kit.
I've seen a lot of complaints about the touchscreen climate controls failing after a while though.
I've read through some of the pages here at work, but not everything.. so don't bite my head off if this has been asked already...
I'm thinking of picking one of these up, has anyone had one of these units fail or experience major problems? Really like the look of this unit compared to the Tesla...
The dealer principal sounds like a real piece of work too from what I've read here. Makes me wonder how many other cars they have done this with, wouldn't be surprised if this was a regular occurrence.
I say buy what you want. What you drive doesn't make any difference to me. That being said, I won't dismiss that there are quite a few meatheads out there that think not having a 5.0 badge equates to being a loser or a "girly man" or some nonsense.... well, that's why they are meatheads. Guess...
My blood was boiling while watching those videos..... Un-f***ing-believable.
I would be doing everything in my power to nail their asses to the wall if only just to make an example out of them. Every news outlet in the country would have received a copy of the video along with Ford Corporate and...
