Yup, same shit I just dealt with yesterday. They want it to be corroded. Bunch of bullshit if you ask me... left a sour enough taste in my mouth that I won't buy another Ford product again even though I love this Mustang. I was thinking of looking at the facelift s550 once they come out, but...
OP, did you have any luck?
I am having this issue too...I noticed the window channels last fall - at that point it was only flaking off of the rubber sealant - figured I would deal with the issue in the spring, then Covid hit and threw that all for a loop. Fast forward to today - washing the...
Honestly, I thought the same thing when the tick first made itself known on my car... it was at 8000km. I worried about it for months and scoured these forums for hours a day looking for a post with a solution. Nothing, other than speculation - myself included. Took it to the dealer, they said...
Don't worry about that... This engine is made to take a beating. Check out what Ford did to the Coyote during testing. It's really surprising how much abuse it took... and that was back with the Gen 1. Things have only improved since...
The mount is actually integrated into the housing of the stock 3" speaker, there is no separate part.
These should work for you https://store.audiodesignscg.com/product/2015-2019-ford-mustang-speaker-adapters/
I'm of the mindset "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". If this is what Ford is doing, then they are out of their minds. Nothing like watering down the Mustang name and the history associated with it. I guess this is what you get when you put a CEO from an office furniture company in charge of a...
I've been DD'ing a Mustang for over 3 years now ... 2 1/2 of those with a blower.
I have a similar length commute to my office, but work remotely 99% of the time so only ever have to make that trip once or twice a month. If I leave cruise set at 120Km/h, I will generally see about 25mpg, even...
Funny. Let's rewind about 15-20 years....
- Street racing on empty industrial roads - Check
- Highway roll racing - Check
- Donuts in parking lots - Check
- Drifting in parking lots/backroads - Check
- Blocking an intersection to do donuts for likes on Instacrap - Nope.
So yeah, as others have...
People like this infuriate me for the simple reason that it gives us all a bad name. Not to mention, there are so many better places to do that ... like a secluded parking lot, by yourself .. oh wait, I forgot that wouldn't get nearly as many likes on Instacrap or whatever kids use these days.
I have the Roush phase 1 kit on my 2017 GT... worth every freaking penny. It's by far one of the best mods you can do to this car. 670+ HP will make that 435HP feel slow, real quick... heh
A positive displacement supercharger (Roush, Whipple, Edelbrock) is the best way to go for the street...
Swap in a Tremec ($$$$) or get an aftermarket shifter that is trans mounted, not body - like the MGW. The main problem is the shift linkage, not the trans. Mine is notchy as hell - still running stock shifter ... but I've gotten used to it over the years.
Dealt with AM a few years ago... bought a few items from them, but when it came time to return something for not being at all as advertised on their website, it took over 3 months to get a full refund. I sent the item back the day I received it... and when they got it, they only refunded me a...
Yeah, that's the side I don't like. I certainly don't want to see people out of work, nor do I look forward to the fallout that comes from this all down the road.
About to go out for one shortly.... 18C and sunny out for the next few hours until rain rolls in later this afternoon. No stay at home order here, but all non-essential businesses are closed... so the roads have been nice and quiet. Can't beat these gas prices either ... I saw one station had...
Mine does the same thing and has for quite some time. Seems to be a common theme. I should note that this is not the rotten egg smell that you'd normally attribute with failing cats. I'm thinking it has something to do with the Cat protection strategy in the PCM, but I could be wrong... to me...
Why? It carries over the character line. Without it, it would just look weird... especially when you look lower and see the other character line that carries over into the bumper cover.
You'll be fine. A lot of these cars sit on the dealer lots for months on end without being run and people store them for 5-6 months out of the year (at least where I'm from). At worst, you'll need to boost the battery.
A good idea may be to crank the car over in clear/flood mode a couple of...
