This is likely OCD but once the car has shipped (dealer confirmed my 9/14 build shipped yesterday!!) is there a way to track its location? I'm in Virginia and am wondering how a car that shipped yesterday could have a (via convoy) ETA that is two weeks away. I've made that drive in 15 hours! ;-)...

Dealer called. Got VIN and 9/14 build date (week of) for my 2016 convertible. Retail order placed in May. Hope to have it by October. YES!

The main thing --- in addition to the speed and upgraded capacitive touch screen --- is that the software will update over wifi in the 2016 models. These things are not included in the 2015s. This was exactly why I waited for the 2016 MY. That said, I'm tired of waiting! I ordered mine in May...

Check out this Sync 3 tutorial. It's fast. I like it. YouTube: CarPlay and Android auto will be available in a future update, which the 2016s can do over wifi (2015s need a USB stick).
