Looks like that “L” piece is just fiber glass that is seem sealed on to help hold the fender liner. Didn’t make any difference once I removed it. Something interesting that I didn’t know before is the ECU is now in the passenger side fender near the body. Didn’t grab a picture of that.

This was on a GT, At 17 I was running 18, I believe on 20s most people stick to 21-22. I’ve had street Rs with no issues on an 17 but I’ve heard a lot of issues with car sway on the street SS. A lot of people I know say stick to the r888r or go to an nt05r

Where did you guys go to buy the warranty? I've never dealt with an extended warranty as I normally mod the power train but at the moment these motors and transmissions seem pretty spendy. Would like to get mine extended as well.
