I'm pretty certain if history repeats itself, they will continue to produce non CFTP GT500s through the winter, as they have done in the past with GT350's vs GT350R's. It doesn't make sense to me that they would stop all GT500 production, when they have not done that before with the Shelby cars.

Super excited, my build (VIN 775) moved up a day, from 12/20 to 12/19. She might actually get built this year!

So, we are now hearing once again that all GT500 production is stopping between December and March. Does anyone know if this is true, or is that only true for CFTP cars such as they have done in the past with 350R production? @NoahwithFP can you confirm that ALL GT500 production will cease...

That's not too bad. I think you're safe to be built this year at least. You have a good buffer between your build day and the plant closure. Whereas I am down to no buffer. lol!

Horrible time for me as well, living in Northern Nevada. I probably won't see the car until early February is my guess. In the middle of winter.

My build, VIN 0775, has been rescheduled once again to day of 12/20. I'm guessing this means that in all likelihood, it won't be built until the new year.

Thanks guys. My gut tells me I'm getting pushed into the New Year. I'm staying positive and optimistic, as it is what it is. I'd rather it be built right, than quick. And it's just giving more time to save for a huge down payment.

My car (0775) is now scheduled to day of 12/16, not just week of. Sure hope it's built sometime that week, since that's the last chance before the holiday shutdown.
