  3. S197 GT500?

Check out this video before you make up your mind on the GT500. The guy in the video has plenty of experience with late model mustangs. He goes over the pros and cons of the 2005-2014 GT500's, check out his videos.
  4. 19'S FRONT, 20'S REAR ANYONE DOING THIS

Just FYI, I ran 255/35/19 up front and 275/40/19 in the rear and the car never had the ABS or traction light come on. From what I've seen in the tire calculators online, the front where 26" tall tires and the rear are 27.7" tall tires. So if your wheels combo have a difference of 1 3/4" or less...
  5. Exhaust Cutout's

Looks really good! I'm also thinking of doing this mod to my GT. I'm currently running MAK cat deletes and GT500 mufflers but I would like to make it a little louder
  6. M6G Track Day?

I actually attended one of their events on July 2, it was pretty fun and my car held up well. Got 3rd fastest time in the beginners group. Could have been better but beginners group was too packed that I kept getting held up by slower cars and not enough room to pass. If I were to do it again, I...
  7. Lund Racing Ngauge Crank Re-learn

Just finished the update too and I see the crank relearn feature in the menu. Quick 5 minute update. The only thing that bothers me from these updates is that Lund doesn't explain what the updates do or fix. They only mention it fixes critical issues and bugs. Whatever it is it, it seems to be...
  8. Continental, ExtremeContact SPORT tire review -with Motec Data (MotoIQ)

Not a major problem, but it was an inconvenience. Been going to them for a few years now and they always treat you like family so I wasn't mad at them for a small error. I was well taken care of when I notified them about the issue. They also do a pretty good job of not damaging the wheels, even...
  9. Replaced stock axles, now I have a shimmy

Might want to add a little bit of grease on the splines to help them slide in and torque the nut following BMR's procedure from the link I sent you.
  10. Continental, ExtremeContact SPORT tire review -with Motec Data (MotoIQ)

LOL  you are right! That's my rear passenger tire and it is mounted incorrectly :frusty: Thanks for spotting that for me! I guess I'll stop by the shop and get it mounted correctly.
  11. How to get speaker level inputs for sub without disconnecting rear speakers???

He has plenty of videos on youtube showing how to remove the the center dash to get behind the screen. It's pretty easy just be carefull with the clips. You unplug the harness from behind the radio and plug the new harness to the radio and existing radio harness. You can best reach him thru...
  12. How to get speaker level inputs for sub without disconnecting rear speakers???

There is no need to tap into the rear speaker wires if you use the harness from the link I posted. If you have a premium mustang it should be plug and play. However, if you have a base mustang, then you will need to purchase the programmer as well. Read thru the post and watch the video I posted...
  13. How to get speaker level inputs for sub without disconnecting rear speakers???

This is what you need. Simple and clean connection. It took me about an hour to install. See link below. http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63512&highlight=audio+harness
  14. Continental, ExtremeContact SPORT tire review -with Motec Data (MotoIQ)

I have put about 500 miles on these new Continental tires and they are hands down amazing. They hook really good in the the street and the track! I was surprised how well they hooked when I smashed on the gas pedal in 1st. gear at 4k RPM. No more fish tailing looking for traction, they hook and...
  15. Replaced stock axles, now I have a shimmy

the axle nut might not be torqued to spec. Make sure you torque it to 150 ftlbs +1/8 turn and use red loctite so that it will not loosen. See link below from BMR that addresses this wobbling issue. http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=78909&highlight=bmr
  16. I'm an idiot. I snapped the STB stud!

seems a bit over kill for replacing one stud. Would it be possible to drill out the broken stud and replacing it with a grade 8 hex bolt?
  17. Firehawk Indy 500 no longer available in 255...245 ok?

Any reason you went with a 35 profile tire? I honestly think they just didn't look right on my mustang. I was running MPSS in 255 35 19 up front with BMR lowering springs and it was just too low for my liking. right now I'm running 275 40 19 all the way around and I like the look and feel of...
  18. Firehawk Indy 500 no longer available in 255...245 ok?

I looked everywhere for the Indy 500 and everyone I spoke to said they where out of stock. Shops I went to in person didn't even know what tire I was requesting. Firestone definitely did not advertise this tire like they should have. I found out about them from I guy I met on the cruises I go...
  19. My clutch replacement the good and bad .

    Thanks for the response!
  20. My clutch replacement the good and bad .

How's the clutch holding up? I'm getting close to needing a clutch and was looking into one like yours. So far I have about 47K miles on my stock clutch and it's starting to feel a bit spongy here and there. Not looking for a full out race clutch but something that will handle my current power...
