  1. Rumor: Steeda Blog - 2015 Mustang Weight Gain (Updated with Steeda's Response)

Correct. The only things that have been promised officially are a global car (including right hand drive for market like the UK, Japan, and Australia), a more powerful 5.0L V8, and the Ecoboost 4-cylinder. Weight has never been officially mentioned.
  2. Rumor: Steeda Blog - 2015 Mustang Weight Gain (Updated with Steeda's Response)

To be fair, the M3/4, current and former, make more use of materials like aluminum and carbon fiber, the latter of which is not cheap, and the prices reflect that.
  3. Rumor: Steeda Blog - 2015 Mustang Weight Gain (Updated with Steeda's Response)

No offense sir, but as everyone has said, y'all should have said that right from the get-go. Would have saved everyone a lot of grief.
  4. 2015 Mustang Production / Ordering Schedule

My guess would be a few weeks to a month, maybe longer. I don't remember how long it took the first S197s to hit dealers, but I do remember they held the first of the 2011 cars for like a month or so for quality checks before they let them go to dealers.
  5. 2015 Mustang Production / Ordering Schedule

This probably isn't really the thread for it, but does anyone know when production of the current car is scheduled to end (if it hasn't already)? I would imagine that it would be soon, as Ford keeps saying 'fall 2014' for when the new car will be on dealer lots, plus they have to retool the...
  6. 2015 Ford Mustang Order Guide (U.S. and Canada)

To be fair, according to an article in Car & Driver a few months ago, the V6 originally wasn't part of the plan for this car; it was added back to keep the initial price of entry low. The lack of a Premium trim for it can likely be explained as 1 of 3 things: either Ford thinks that most people...
  7. 2015 Ford Mustang Order Guide (U.S. and Canada)

I actually like the design of the GT PP wheels (love me some BBS mesh type wheels), but don't I know if I'd like them in black. I'm more of a silver painted/machined face guy. My guess is shock and strut valving, as they mention things like heavy duty front springs and an upsized rear bar.
  8. 2015 Ford Mustang Order Guide (U.S. and Canada)

I think it will be at some point, otherwise I don't think they'd have bothered to make the PP standard on auto-equipped 50th Anniversary cars.
  9. 2015 Ford Mustang Order Guide (U.S. and Canada)

Then why the footnote about the Brembos? Makes it sound like the PP will be available for autos later on.
  10. 2015 Ford Mustang Order Guide (U.S. and Canada)

I'm confused about the GT Performance Package: is it available with the auto or not? I know the footnote below it says it's not, but if that's the case, why is there a footnote about the 6-piston Brembos being only on manual cars? Its a redundant footnote if that's the case.
