Figures! I went out and bought a special wrench to reach those two ground positions above the fuse box. They were a pain to access and get the ground into lemme tell ya. At least I know if I do anything down the road I can use that easier to access position now. Thanks for confirming that!
I have a 2015 non premium. Am I able to easily swap the generic door sill currently on the car with the illuminated version? Is there wiring underneath the current door sill to do this? Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks a lot for your help Edwin. They are installed and look great.
Of course now I want to do what the person did inside this thread by putting a strip along the top section of the dash so I'm not really done I guess.
Thanks. Since that fuse is 15amps I need to make sure the add a circuit is the same correct? I'm about to head out to either Fry's or an auto parts store and grab one. I appreciate the help.
I finally accessed those grounds next to the fuse box but I have a new issue. The 'add a fuse' which came attached to these lights doesn't fit into any of these fuse slots? All of the bigger fuses in this compartment have 3 prongs. The 'add a fuse' has 2 as you can see. The ones that are two...
I'm mid-install now and having a heck of a time reaching those two ground locations (seen below). Any advice besides using a socket wrench that bends which I don't have?
Are there any other ground locations nearby?
Does anyone know where all the ground locations are within the footwells?
The two above the fusebox are difficult to access so I'm looking for alternates. This pic shows the obvious two that I can't access without one of those socket wrenchs that bends due to obstructions and the placement...

As someone who is new to all of this what are the differences between Rosen and Raxiom? Is one better quality than the other, more options, easier to install, etc?
Hi Everyone,
I have a 2015 Mustang (Non Premium) with the 4 inch screen. The speakers are pretty flat so I'd like to upgrade them. The question is will just replacing the speakers with others be enough to get a nice clear sound? The volume is fine on the current speakers so I don't have any...
Does anyone have an audio shop they recommend? I'm going to try and upgrade the factory speakers myself if the instructions aren't too complicated but would like someone to upgrade to the 8 inch screen with NAV. There's a thread in the audio/visual on how to do this with OEM parts but since it...
Question for all. This looks a little advanced as my first stereo install but I want to do this (and probably the more expensive way using the OEM stuff to make it as easy as possible). If I feel it's too difficult (and that will likely happen) how much would I be looking at bringing this to a...
Hi everyone,
Does anyone from Northern California recommend a tint shop in the Sacramento area? I live near Roseville/Rocklin but don't mind driving to Sacramento if needed either. America's Tint has a $157 groupon deal right now although it doesn't specify what kind of tint is used...
One thing I forgot to ask. How much should I expect to pay a place to wrap the pieces above in that carbon fiber vinyl? In total we'd be talking the rear piece (not sure the name), side skirts, front chin spoiler area, and the side mirrors? I've never done that so have no idea what's a good...
Thanks - That quality looks pretty good! If I bought the KatzSkins how much do you figure a dealership and/or other shop would charge to do the swap? I don't have any of the heated or cooled components in my car if that matters.
