  1. Prices are on the rise......

I was very close to pulling the trigger on an R until learning the rear set retrofit was no longer available. Two young daughters that were very focused on back seat rides landed me in a ā€˜regular’ 350. Have since done the suspension and added forged wheels / better tires… should help close the gap
  2. Noises at Idle

Curious… are you laughing your ass off because I didn’t know that or for some other reason
  3. Noises at Idle

Interesting thought. Will check and make sure the AC is off next time
  4. Noises at Idle

So these are not that quiet of motors in general, but beyond the constant chatter in the background I am hearing a periodic 'clack' sound that I believe is the throttle body. Typically sounds off every 12-15ish seconds. Does anyone else hear something similar in their cars? Sounds off at...

Well need to run up to Sonoma Raceway to get sized for a new helmet today. That will give it the full ā€˜break in period’. If it still doing it’s odd ball thing when I get back I’ll flip it out and test with stock.
  6. Soler Engineering Throttle body

Yup did that. Going to swap the stocker back on tomorrow to see if it goes away
  7. Holy Tramlining!

The FP Sport Cups were terrible on the street. I switched to 30 series Toyo R888Rs and got it aligned and it is night and day. Had already had the Steeda 2pt brace installed.
  8. Soler Engineering Throttle body

So installed mine this afternoon. Very quick and easy until I dropped my socket down into the belly pan… Something I have noticed is that every 12ish seconds I can hear the TB open/snap shut. Did it when I first started it up and after a short drive. Can hear the effect in the exhaust when...
  9. Prices are on the rise......

I don't buy cars as investments... a fact that is very clear based on my premature sales of a Gen 1 NSX, Porsche 930, S54 BMW M Coupe, and the list goes on... I buy them to enjoy them as I can typically only afford to own and garage one at a time. It is kind of cool though to see some of these...

Not losing much sleep over it… thought it was a nice touch
  11. Soler Engineering Throttle body

Mine just arrived today. Trying to find some time this weekend to get it on. Bit disappointed mine doesn't have the dimpling on the center pivot bar. Need to go back and see if that wasn't phased out.
  12. Jason Cammisa on the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 [Video]

a lot of heavy metal went down that session…

Interested to hear your thoughts on the Controller. Never thought about needing / wanting one for the GT350 although really like the Banks unit I put in the F350
  14. Soler Engineering Throttle body

Btw - their ā€˜new’ price is a better deal than sourcing a new TB from Tasca (or the like) and then having them modify it - for those that may prefer to keep their stock unit on the shelf
  15. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Well seems like the suspension continued to settle a bit after having put a few more miles on the car. Pretty happy with the stance. Also the Toyos are SO MUCH better to drive on than the stock SC2s. I can feel a significant improvement in the car's tendency to track along with every groove in...

Just picked up a second TB and plan to send it to them once it arrives
  17. Studs/hubs, spacers, and lug nuts - questions

Heads up... OP Mustang has more R Front Studs and Hubs in stock. Just placed an order this AM. Not many there so if you need them I'd get on it!
  18. FL 2087 update (interesting information)

    Tasca came through yesterday
  19. FL 2087 update (interesting information)

Have my second GT500 Canister (and filter) on its way now from Tasca. For the ~$20 premium its a no brainer. That gives me three filters on hand. One going on next week pre-track, one for post-track (have a couple coming up) and an extra backup.
