The BC coilovers have less inner clearance than stock suspension, so a spacer will be needed even with 285 tires on the 18x10" ET40. You'll likely need a 1/2" spacer and longer wheel studs up front for 295s.
I still think SVE wheels are fine for some people, but I talk to a LOT of people who are replacing theirs and ordering EC-7s or SM-10s. I'm not going to bash their product.
Our wheels are more expensive for a reason, they are simply higher quality. If you want something that's track focused...
18x10" ET40 SM-10 wheels are in stock and ready to ship!
The 18x10" ET40 size typically works as a direct fit when ran as a square setup with 275 or 285 width tires. Perfectly suited to both the street and track, this fitment is sure to improve the look and handling of your Mustang!

Looks like a few people have posted their setups with the same wheel specs you're looking for. The 19x10" ET40 sits flush in the rear with a 285 tire and factory camber.
Both 18x11 and 19x11" will have fitment issues with the Pedders. The best way around it is to either run a 28mm spacer...
Gotcha, thank you for your input and I also agree the bolt on spacers or anything that isn't hub centric is not ideal to use for safety reasons. We also manufacture our own slip on spacer that's built to the exact same specs as the wheel to provide a perfect fit. Hub bore, lug bore, and wheel...
Thank you for the feedback, it's helpful! Good looking group of cars you have. And you are correct, there are zero safety issues from running spacers on Mustangs, especially for track use.
I don't really agree with this comment. Can you explain why spacers are fine for race cars but not street...

Hi, we have no plans to ever produce a 10.5" wheel for the Mustang as it gets too redundant with our 10" and 11" offerings. I would suggest running 19x11" ET26 up front which will better maximize that tire and improve performance.
Got some great customer submitted photos of an S550 on a square 18" EC-7s setup in Bronze Finish with some meaty tires!
