I'm a college student, if 35mpg+ and 300+hp on a tunable turbo 4 is a reality, that might be the ticket for me. That or wait till 4 years from now till I'm done and buy a gt350 haha...
Hell of a post Pill! I think I agree with the point of longevity, the S197 did live through a bit of an economic crisis.
I like the idea of the turbo model. Considering I won't be able to afford one of these new S550s till around '17-18 model year it might be something to look out...
I can read just fine. Your comment specifically said that if you were in the market for 4, the stock exhaust would be your reason not to which I found ridiculous. I'm glad you're going for the V8, that is absolutely the car to get but that same logic applies, if for some reason the new v8...
Arguably nothing sounds as good as a V8 especially if you're comparing a 4banger to it, but that's apples to oranges. Bullets said if he were in the market for a 4(not 6 or 8) his reason not to get it would be that exhaust. That's ridiculous. Basically, even if the performance crushes the...
You're joking right? :frusty: Did you JUST get into mustangs? Exhaust is usually one of the very first mods for most. If that's your only reason for not getting the new mustang with all it's rumored improvements & qualities, then you're clearly in the wrong forum.
Beautifully said!!! That's the kind of mindset we need, not that limpwristed crap I keep hearing with other's being butthurt over options. Please! This isn't a Mustang vs Camaro thing where our main concerns are mullets and hay stacks. Ford is competing against the WORLD and what we need is not...
I absolutely ADORE this render, I completely agree with you. If this is the next mustang, I'll be buying a GT as soon as they're available. And this considering the new Corvette is gorgeous too. All I know is, next car is a V8 :D
That's not a bad idea, special model would be great. I'm thinking if our current gen was raping on the M3s, can you imagine something sophisticated and high end??? I'm thinking the IRS, 450+ horsepower, maybe 3400 or so lbs....mmmmm.... nasty. Realizing this forces me to patience. Another two...
Just made an account so that I could post on these pictures.
This is really exciting. I have a 2013 V6 that I really love but the call of a V8 is pounding at me, I was thinking of looking at some left over 13s but man oh man does the allure of the 50th year addition scream at me..
