Got a meth kit for my TT since I have 91 octane (shitty fuel) here and was getting false knock. not tuned for it but have it to increase the octane and I worked really well, also took the knock away. I am getting dynoed next week, 1 without meth and 1 with a tune with meth, I can post the...
yes, i am data logging and theres to much spin from 1st to 3rd. but it seems that the longer gears have made good solutions for TT cars like mine. also helps out more with the boost and has better results, according to many other people
how difficult was it to switch gears from 3.73 to 3.31, i am also boosted and need to swap my gears but am not sure how hard it will be or how long it will take. thanks
I was having the same problem with crappy gas here in CA so i installed a meth kit. I don't have E85 near me so that was the next best step. I'm not tuned for it but it kicks in for boost and i felt and drove WAY better. I am in the process of getting a tune for meth so I can have 2 tunes...
at this point, I don't have a choice. its been a 8 week project and about 4 weeks tuning, I am doing anything I can at this point. I don;t have E85 around me so yah that's not an option. and I will have cooler temps so I don't mind
I'm not lowered so maybe I won't rub but I'm not 100% sure, let me see if i can find some info on these wheels and people who have installed onto the same car as mine. do you know how far they stick out in front? a lot or not to noticeable? sorry for all the questions
well I'm only installing because I have false knock and the the octane here in CA is complete S#!+ so the tuner said i need better fuel. Hopefully it helps with the false knock that I am getting. i am also remote tuning and not dyno tuning but im sure i will notice a difference in how the car...
i got the id1050x for mine and I'm tuned for 91, just installed a snow kit as well since i don't got E85 near me. I will see results with the snow kit this week (not tuned for it). you will also need a BAP
