After getting the news that the dealer that I had thought I had an MSRP deal from fell through I had given up on finding a GT350 near my home. I had been talking to the original dealer since November about an MSRP deal...which they led me on to believe would be just that, a GT350 at MSRP...
My email originally stated MY '15, but that is when we didn't know that the '15 would be so limited and everybody thought the normal GT350 would start in '15. I am looking for what is now a '16...and that is what they are getting.
It doesn't matter that we didn't know allocations or MSRP pricing in November. They said that I would be first in line if they got an allocation (which they did sign up for and received) at MSRP (as stated in my email and I also talked to my salesman face-to-face). If the MSRP was $100k, then I...
I was screwed! I talked to my salesman on Tuesday because I had heard that people were placing orders and I wanted to come in to get mine placed. My original email to this dealer was titled "2015 GT350 at MSRP" was sent on November 21st...back when we thought the MY would be '15 and not in so...
Besides what you don't get: radio, spare, back seat, A/C....what do you get that is upgraded from the base GT350? Front and rear spoilers are larger, tires are wider on CF wheels....but what else? I am considering an R if my dealer allocation allows it, but I'm not sure which way to go. I will...
Bingo! There are slightly used ones within 300 miles of me, but they are all Black! I had a 2011 Black GT and vowed to never get a black car again...I'm too anal! My Boss is red, and that is the color of Z/28 I would get. This dealer has had this 2014 since model year 2014 and it is new! They...
I just made an offer of 60K to a dealer that I know has had the same '14 sitting on their lot since last winter....they didn't take it. MSRP is over 76K. I drive my 2013 Boss around with the shocks set on 5. I forgot to turn them down after my last track day and it didn't bother me.
I've made a few offers to dealers with new '14 Z/28s still sitting on their lots...looking to get 20% off. No takers. GM had a 20% off camaro deal earlier in the spring on the 2014 MY cars. I have had a MSRP deal on a GT350 lined up since December, but no money has changed hands and nothing in...
That looks like Mark Steilow's garage....I hang out on Lateral-g.net too. When I'm not on this site reading everybody's speculation and rumors I'm in the garage working on my 69 Firebird track/road car.
I was supposed to place an order at my dealer today, but no price release has but the brakes on that. If Ford holds out too much longer and the price is significantly higher for a track pack GT350 than expected, my money could go somewhere else. I'm still cross-shopping a 2014 z/28 and...
If they haven't released MSRP yet, would ordering of '15 and '16 GT350's have to be moved back...even thought you should be able to order a '16 Mustang on Monday?
I agree. If the price of a GT350 with track options is pushing the price of what I can get a 2014 Z-28 for it would make a difference to me. I already have a 2013 Boss that I track, and I think it would be cool to have a z-28 parked next to it some day. I could get a GT350 in a couple of...
Less than 7 days until order banks are supposed to open and we still don't know a price. What are the chances they push that date back? Was that date even officially stated by Ford? I'm not gonna place my order if I don't know what the price is!
I agree! I am supposed to have an MSRP deal in place, but no money has exchanged hands and nothing has been signed. I'll believe it a week from today if I am able to put money down. If the dealer tries to pull a fast one I'm gonna tell them to look for a sucker and start shopping for a new 2014...
ADM this and Allocation that.....when is Ford going to tell us what it costs if we are supposed to be able to order one in 7 days?!?!? But that would just be speculation too!
