I wired the three wires according to the wiring diagram and installed the new pressure sensor. It did not work after starting the car. I'm currently checking all the as built data, and will check to verify that the 5 volt reference is present.

I just finished wiring for the new oil pressure sensor tonight. Just have to swap out the sensors and see if it works.

I have all the parts now, I will update the outcome this upcoming weekend.

I have a premium non PP car and mine does not work. I have ordered a PP oil pressure sensor and pig tail connector. I will be wiring it in next weekend and see what happens.

I will report the outcome of this project. Unfortunately the parts arent due until Monday.

There should only be a very small gap. If you look closely at the bezel there are tiny plastic pegs with rubber bumpers. These small bumpers butt against the cluster screen creating the small air gap. This is why I used the small post that I showed you before. Without something like it, you...

Db252, on these PP cars that you have worked on i assume these are 15 thru 17 cars. From what you have seen where is the second sensor located? Also, is that second sensor hole present on non PP cars but plugged off?

Does it show the tach at all or the tach has no reading? I had a problem with my tach not working. With the car running the needle stayed at zero.

Is it typical for these clusters to arrive in remanufactured labeled boxes?

I have not done business with him before, but my cluster was ordered from White Bear Ford and it is on back order. However, I did receive the Sccm in four days from them.

I was also told that they are not excepting the cores from pre 2018 clusters. Meaning the cost is about $1300. As far as you know, is that the case everywhere? Thanks for the replie(s) in advance.

I called Auto Nation Ford in Minnesota and they said that they are only selling 2019 clusters now. Will this one work just the same as the 2018 clusters?
