**Update: SOLD to the man from the great white north. ** Selling my never-installed Paxton SC kit. All original items included. Package barely opened, never even attempted an installation. I am selling this as a full kit only. Not parting components as I have no interest in further disturbing...

For anybody who is curious, the seatbacks are 11lbs each and the base is another 10. If you toss in the hardware (seatbelts, etc.), the weight savings from removing the rear seat base and cushions is ~35lbs. I can't comment on what the delete kit weighs. I'm DIYing.

You re-use some factory cooling and vacuum hoses in the Paxton/Vortech kits, and there's some trimming here and there (engine cover, radiator shrouds, possibly hood liner, depending on the kit). Buy OEM replacements for those, and yeah. You could go 100% back to stock.

I should be able to get around that by using a different coupler hose at the inlet. That seems like small potatoes. Beats having to re-clearance the hood.

Curious if anybody's used lowering mounts in combination with the Paxton setup. If so, which lowering setting are you using and how successful have you been?

That's a rampant issue with those manufacturers. I had a ca-fi unit in my Speed3, and while I loved the OEM-like fit and the almost-seamless integration, it was a hodgepodge of software packages all thrown together and there was zero after-purchase support.

The price tag on that ebay unit almost makes it worth it just for experimentation, even if it doesn't work.

I hear you on the front tires. I started with an extra 6 PSI up front to try and keep the tires from rolling over but had to dial it way back down to keep it from pushing. I want a square setup something fierce, but I need to kill the stockers first.

For those who need a quick grounding solution, the rear lamps are grounded behind the plastic panel at the rear of the trunk. Easy to reach and I've been running an amp grounded there now for two-plus months with no issues.

Don't hold me to that as I don't have the requisite equipment to verify that it's the proper connector; that could be for another piece of equipment entirely that my package didn't include (Base GT).

You can also disable HSA from within the cluster menu, so maybe do that before you you try to work just to be safe?
