The sad part about that is the way they will try and fix it I'd by detuning the car.
  2. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Man I'm sorry to hear your going through this. And I know your not the only one. I see these post every where about their roush cars experiencing these check engine lights and misfire codes. Unfortunately roush refuses to fix because the fix is impossible with factory parts. I know these cars...
  3. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

If you would be comfortable dealing with only one particular dealer than that makes sense. But being under warranty literally any ford dealer can & should accommodate.
  4. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

You don't have to take it to a roush dealer. Any ford dealership is capable on assisting services. But as far as the other things you stated, yes it's very unacceptable!

Good luck with the issue bro
  7. P0303, cylinder #3 misfire.

A head gasket is more than likely not it! You would be dealing with over heating issues or coolant & oil mixing. You can check those fluids to be sure. On these ecoboost biggest issues is piston rings frying, turbo bearings, sticking valves. I work at ford so we see it often. Most is turbos...

  10. P0303, cylinder #3 misfire.

It takes those exact service tools. The compression tester will check just that the amount of compressed air in the cylinder hole. If compression is lower than specs required then a leak down test is required which also requires a leak down tool. There will be shop air applied to cylinder while...

    That's wild!!!
  13. P0303, cylinder #3 misfire.

A blown head gasket is actually very easy to find without needing a compression or leak down test.
  14. P0303, cylinder #3 misfire.

A compression and leak down test doesn't always point to a blown head gasket.
  15. P0303, cylinder #3 misfire.

Do a compression test make sure the cylinder with the misfire issue has the same compression as the rest of the cylinders. If you did coil and plug only other thing would be compression or possible carbon build up blocking a injector. Could be a pcm issue but that's a low chance.

Yea that is correct the company is called cover my plate. I purchased a plate from them. They run about $50 if I can remember. It's actually a pretty nice simple plate for pics and shows. I've used mine for that purpose. Since I couldn't install the front drop plate I'll still be using my "...
  17. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Couldn't be more correct. Also the misfire issue can be related to the back pressure from the cats combined with the high iat2 during the summer time. Notice yall having issues with misfires in this high heat weather.
