Yea... The JBL's are lower ohms then stock so they draw more power from the factory equipment. It's not a plug and play swap like it used to be in other cars. Mostly because the way Ford feeds the speakers on the front vs the back.

Put some JBL components in today. Much better sound quality.

Never really had a thud before or after. The hardest part is the rubber protective boot install. Shouldn't take more then 4 hours if you watch the video at every step with low bandwidth Internet. It's worth every penny and hour of time. It's a true upgrade over any other system or apparatus.

That depends, do you have the stock shifter? Will the reverse ring fit inside? I'm guessing it will. I'd measure first. I'm making a billet piece since my shifter isn't stock.

The MT-82 shifter is larger thread, so it needs drilled out and then tapped. I am planning to offer a kit once I've done testing. But it's been delayed do to shipping damage.
