My MT82 has no issues and is the best manual transmission I have driven. I see no reason to dump Getrag.

Should see some numbers real soon. Looks like at least 15-20 hp gain from those upgrades. On the low side I see it being conservatively rated at 430hp 400 lb-ft and as high as 450hp 400tq.

I am noticing mixed reviews on the ProCal but think this is the best place for reliable information. An aluminum one piece driveshaft is an eventual mod. Not looking at replacing anything on the exhaust but the mufflers. Trying to stay close to stock for now. I'll upgrade more if I ever swap out...

Keep up the good work because I used to be a member on the Facebook page called the Combustion Chamber where a few guys would occasionally complain about you and post links while whining. I was just laughing at how bad you got them. I know who they are and I deal with them on MT.

I was planning on keeping and paying off my 2008 and buying a 2016 5.0. I had an idea what the new one will look like but I like the 2013 the most. I wanted a 5.0 really bad and couldn't wait two to three more years.

I had a few discussions on the oil and there are many opinions that do not need to be repeated. Since it is my car and it recommends 5w-50 the only approved oil is Motorcraft and Quaker State 5w-50. I realize there are better oils that I wish I could use but they don't meet the specs.

Window tint on all the windows and looking at the Ford Racing tune with '11-'12 GT500 mufflers, maybe Borla touring mufflers. An aluminum driveshaft and Ford Racing shifter are on the long term mod list. Other than that I want everything else to stay stock.

I don't see any indication of a 400 lb loss. I'm thinking 100 maybe 200 lbs lighter at most, but not a weight gain.

I would like to add the Ford Racing tune and 2011-2012 GT500 mufflers to my car. I realize there are better options for more power and better performance, but I am looking at keeping my car as close to stock as possible. I am looking for feedback from anyone with these mods on their 5.0.

Bought it about two weeks ago and I am glad I got rid of my 2008 4.6 manual for this. The power, acceleration, and transmission shifting are very impressive with this car and I love how it looks. :ford:

Maybe the next Camaro will drop 200 but nothing more. Still will weigh more than the next Mustang.

No idea how much torque the revised 5.0 will make but that can be fixed with gearing and a higher rev range that I can predict it getting. I really doubt the next Camaro will lose more than 150 lbs. Anything more and the SS will be getting close to Corvette weight territory which is now over...

It's just a crazy rumor that could have been wrong. There is talk of the automatic getting more gears sometime after launch. Possible it could be an eight speed instead.

I haven't seen any ratios on the Termed 7 speed. If five forward gears it would work. Ford can get the ratios revised for the 5.0 anyways.
