I've heard someone say that before, but no one has shown any evidence for it. Ford is on record as saying it's 3rd gen. Is that not what the vette has?
They stated elsewhere that the iron brakes outperformed the CC brakes wrt to brake fade. Of course you can choose to believe that or not. The brakes that it comes with are clearly pretty high-end for a production car so whatever difference there is between them and real CC brakes probably isn't...
The non tech pack just gets buttons in the same spot like the base mustangs. However there is one more toggle switch. Not sure which function it has.
I believe both packages have the same steering wheel buttons.

Not sure about the diff, but I read somewhere that the transmission case of the non-track car actually has a different casting without the hookups for the cooler. Doesn't mean you couldn't try a more generic setup though.
I'm sure that the tech package will hold up just fine for anything but...
Interesting. Confirmation that you can indeed get a base model without MagneRide. I assume most of the people who get that will turn it into a hardcore track car. (Cage, coilovers, etc.)
I seriously doubt it will be as compliant as a regular GT. The GT is by most accounts too softly sprung for real track duty. The 350 will almost certainly have a pretty firm ride and the R model has already been stated as being harder still.
Oh for crying out loud. We're talking about two pieces of plastic being replaced by two better pieces of plastic. Your story about Lamborghinis is completely irrelevant.
Since you're avoiding the question, let me ask it this way, how much should the Mustang cost in order for the center stack to...
It's a simple question. How much do you guys think it would cost to include real stitching on the center stack?
Hint: It aint $20k.
I swear, some of the attitudes here are the reason why American cars were crap for so long. Stop making excuses. Demand better. Just because someone criticizes...
