  1. 2015+ GT350 Mustang official power specs: 526 HP / 429 LB-FT!

Well I hope all the Mustang road racers have a ball with this car. It looks as if this one is intended for that arena. I'll take one with big balls and steaming piles of TQ right off idle. Mustang has allways meant muscle car in my book, but I don't care use them however ya want. Enjoy!
  2. 2015+ GT350 Mustang official power specs: 526 HP / 429 LB-FT!

LOL! How many Mustangers frequent road courses? I've been around Mustangs my entire life and have never known a single one who ever did that once.
  3. 2015+ GT350 Mustang official power specs: 526 HP / 429 LB-FT!

Gt350 makes 300lbs of TQ @ 2500 rpm while its GT500 predecessor hammers out 550 at the same point. Forget about it. This isn't even real world close.
  4. 2015+ GT350 Mustang official power specs: 526 HP / 429 LB-FT!

This motor will have no where near the low end pull that the GT500 has. The rpm range where the motor is 99% of the time will feel profoundly stronger in the GT500. Peak HP make good internet conversation but low end torque is what gives a car that fun-to-drive factor. Never forget the old...
  5. GT350R Mustang Engine/Exhaust Note Sounds

It has kind of a v6 note to it. I like the GT500 exhaust sound far better.

Oh, so I will have to wait a year or maybe even 2 years to get one at full sticker?

Gross profit on a $60,000 car with 9% margin and 3% hold back is over 7 grand. Throw in the usual dealer rip offs like DOC fee and a raft of other greasy charges that their F&I person slips under your nose at signing and it can be an easy 8K. It really gets sweet if the dealer can convince a...

Exactly, good to see that there is someone here who gets it. Ford will fart out as may of these cars as the public will buy. 5,000 is likely a good guess, they know more about that stuff than any of us here. Their suppliers will be more than glad to whip up some more stuff to build more if...
  9. Shelby American Museum in Las Vegas!

That tour sounds like a great idea. I would really enjoy that.

Really? The initial call from Ford in 2006 was for 3-5K GT500s, they ultimately built 11,000, '07s. Do they have a magic wand? Really hard to grasp why some of you guys are promoting this "limited" hype. The only limit is how many they can sell. Wake up!

Excellent job Dude! $38,000 is way over wholesale. You got that car for well under sticker.
  12. Who is planning to order? Check in here

You must be a car salesman. There are limits to everything produced for consumption. Mustang GTs will have some eventual limit over time as will V6 Mustangs, Cadillacs, Toyota Camrys, Chevy Silverados, and on. 5,000 units/year at this price range for a top dog Mustang is probably quite...

Exactly. Anybody who has 60 grand or can qualify to finance it will get a GT350. All the "limited production" crap is just nonsense that the retailers just love to mindlessly spout off about. It is simply amazing how many enthusiasts validate this BS and are sucked into believing the implied...

The GT500 was to be 2 years only. Current owners of the '07s and '08s at that time were furious when the '09s were announced. Google the subject if you don't believe me. The only limits are how many they can sell. Some people are just committed to being fools and believing this manipulative BS.

Chopsui and Co. here just can't comprehend the "limited production" thing. 2 years, 200 years, 2 million years are limits and we get that. Every thing has "limits". The point is that an individual who is in the position of acquiring one of these so called "limited" items should not have his...
  16. Who is planning to order? Check in here

Anyone with a backround in sales knows the score when terms such as "limited production" are used. Verbage like that creates the illusion of shortage in the mind of a potential buyer and yes anyone who buys into that cheesy crap is a sucker as well as a car salesmans dream customer. There are...
  17. Who is planning to order? Check in here

LOL, that's a good one. the car is nothing more than a rumor and now it is "designed for the dragstrip". The internet brings out the expert in all of us I guess.

The GT500 was initially to be a 2 year offering that morphed into 8 years. There is no such thing as "limited production". Ford is not in the business of providing consumers with a collectable item by producing fewer units than what can clear the market.
  19. What are the chances of Ford increasing production of GT350 to meet demand levels?

There is a HUGE difference between interest in the GT350 and an actual purchase. It is very well known that German car enthusiasts are ferociously loyal to their Porsche/BMW/Audi offerings and rarely purchase a sports/performance vehicle outside of those 3 brands. will these guys read about the...
