same thought i had. i was very interested in the pedalmax when i first heard about it, then saw that price tag and i just cant bring myself to pay that when a decent tune is so close in price. if it was closer to the 200 mark i likely would've done it.
you said you bought the 13 couple months ago...so its used. do you know the previous owner personally? could be a possibility it has a tune of some sort on it already you dont know about...or even the pedalmax addon and its fly by wire delay has already been taken care of.
now see wish we woulda ran into each other sooner; im about to pull the trigger on the borla 3in ataks to replace my SW h pipe CB. we coulda just traded for shipping cost.
i didnt cut the bump stops on mine however the new springs i purchased came with new bump stops. but logically speaking for there to be a clunk then there must be a metal contact being made. if the spring is in fact seated properly as you indicate then perhaps there is a tell tale mark from...
its the spring not correctly seated. jack it up. just loosen the bolts u did when installing it a bit and twist the spring by hand until it seats correctly. make sure the lil rubber pad on the spring isnt all bunched up as well. had same issue on mine. 10 minutes on a lift to twist the spring...
to me it's drone. I've had many a exhaust from dual straight pipe flowmasters ( dronemaster 40's ) on chevy 350's to borla systems and plain old cherry bombs on some mopar 360's. the SW to me has a deep mono tone wail at speed. loud i can live with and have on many vehicles. the drone from the...
I have the SW catback 3 inch H pipe on an auto GT with 3:55 gearing and it drones horribly at 52 ~ 65mph. It sounds terrific outside the car, kinda has the old school muscle sound to it but not extremely loud. however if i had it to do over again considering the price is about the same i would...

tampa(ish) area; south brandon or clair mel really depending on how ya look at the location.
I have the SW h-pipe on my '15 auto with 3:55 gears. the drone; is for me; irritating in the 50 to 65mph range. i had the borla S on my '13 GT it was very nice and is what i wish i would've gone with on this one now in retrospect. the H pipe does sound better to me then the X of the borla so i...
got mine installed today. made huge difference in handling. cured the spongy float and drift feel of the base GT springs. feels more planted & connected now. how a sports car is expected to feel. MM caster/camber plates installed as well.
at the shop:
excuse the craptacular galaxy III...
have you checked alignment since its settled? curious to sknow if i wasted the 250 on the caster/camber plates. well not really wasted since they do function; but still coulda used that cash elsewhere if result are marginal.
yeah that was kinda what my gut instinct told me as well; and since i didnt want to miss the memorial day sale waiting to find out; i went ahead and purchased the springs and the caster camber plates as well.it was still a good price regardless of a forum code.
Thanks.
