Still got a couple warranty items to take care of, but it’s clean and with winter coming, I gotta post some pics while I can. Can’t drive it when the temp is below 40 because the tires turn into hockey pucks. So here is the official post.

So Ford is going to cover all the issues and my local dealer got everything ordered - the full correct stripe kit, new fender emblem, and they already replaced the front splitter. Based on that, I went ahead and took delivery of the car. I’ll show it off once it’s all fixed and ready, but for...
None of the swirls are too deep. Should buff out fine. The dealer doesn’t do any body work themselves. They take the cars down the street to a body shop/collision repair center. I’m confident it’ll turn out fine. Thanks for the advice. I’ll look into what you said. It’s appreciated. As for the...
Yeah, lol. It’s only got 6.7 miles on it. Paint and interior are perfect. Only issues are cosmetic. It’ll all get resolved. Just gotta wait a little longer.
Welp. This evening did not turn out the way I had hoped. The car made it from Colorado to Wichita, but I unfortunately am not able to take delivery tonight due to several issues.
1) Looks like someone wiped the car down with a rag that had a bunch of rocks in it. There are horrible swirl marks...
Yes. The window sticker says “Blue with Red accent.” Obviously it’s wrong since it’s Blue with Silver accent, and the dealer is going to replace the stripes for me. Still taking ownership tomorrow though.
Thanks!

Roughly 8 months ago, I purchased a used 2017 Shelby GT350. I wanted a GT350R, but thought I could convert the standard 350 to an R cheaper than actually getting an R. I was mostly successful acquiring all the parts needed with the exception of three items. Ford doesn't want people doing what I...
I hear ya. And I expect that response. As for the splitter and the calipers, the cost vs. functionality is unwarranted, in my opinion. I just like the look of the R better which is the reason I did what I did. And I’m not trying to fool anyone. This is just for for me. I’m a “to each their own”...
So a bit of backstory. I've had 9 Mustangs over the years. Foxes, S-197s, and S550s. I currently have a 2015 Ecoboost Race Red Roush as my daily, but I had a 2009 GT/CS show car for nearly 9 years. I did everything imaginable to it. I eventually had so much time, effort, and cash invested in it...
