I don't have the wire chafing issue, but do have a blowing the #34 fuse when Track Mode with Normal exhaust is selected for My Mode (set up for tracks that have a 92 db noise limit). Fuse #34 is blown every time during a 20 min track session, but not while driving on the street. And never blown...
It is used to cap the end of a wiring harness. After the wire harness is installed they are discarded. Protects the pins from getting bent during installation and assembly.
Congrats to all the folks who got bumped from the week of 9/12 to mid-August. Just got the email from Ford, bumped from the week of 9/12 to.... the week of 9/19. Getting closer and closer to one year from order to delivery. So glad I found a 2021 locally instead of waiting for the 2022 I ordered...
If you decide to track your M1, the HP is a night and day difference from the non-HP. Street use only, not so much. Mine is a non-HP that I have upgraded (mostly) to a HP. All I have left is springs, rear sway bar and Magnaride calibration.
Finally!! Scheduled for the week of Sept 12, 2022. I might take delivery before I hit 365 days. Lol

I have found with the attention my Mach 1 gets, along with a unique license plate, that cruise control is my friend. When just cruising, I set it for 5-8 mph over and don't have to worry about tickets.
Although I do prefer the ACC in my Lincoln and the wife's GT convertible, it definitely was...
I beg to differ on this... 2.5 mile track, many high speed corners, YES the additional aero definitely helps. For a street only car, not so much, if at all.
I ran the first weekend track session without the lower splitter and gurney flap, next weekend with both. What a difference!! The Ford...
MP4S is an incredible tire. My 2021 originally did not have the HP but I've since upgraded to all but the HP springs and rear sway bar. I still have the original 255/40 fronts and 275/40 rears for the unpredictable NH spring and fall weather; 295/35 front and 305/35 rear for having fun and track...
I have Craig's Custom Mustang Bracket on my Mach 1. Much better than Sto-n-Sho if you have minimal ground clearance. Easy on, easy off. And don't have to worry about NH Staties.
Also, 305/30 front and 315/30 rear on 10.5"/11" rims, adjustable camber plates, drive height is 3/4" lower, rear sway bar is solid vs hollow (stiffer), magnaride programming optimized for suspension and tires, and slightly different AdvanceTrac parameters.
Yep, I researched everything needed to...
Same boat as you, but I managed to find a '21 Mach 1 with the same options I ordered locally. The car is an absolute beast on the track!
If I had to wait for my not yet built or scheduled Mustang (of any flavor) I would have told Ford to pound sand and gone with another brand at this point...
I can understand the struggle. Watched multiple orders with the exact same options get ordered, built and delivered, while I hear crickets on my 11/1/21 order. :frown:
Which NH dealer? I was looking at a 2021 FJG at Londonderry Ford a while back but it was gone before I could talk price. I ended up getting my 2021 FJG at Quirk Ford in Quincy, MA.
Ran into the same thing during the braking exercises at Mach 1 Track Attack. The instructor told me that I was "over-braking" the stock pads with too much initial pressure. Adjusted for the road course portion and had no issue.
Or, I was doing a track bedding of the brake pads during the...
It is still a gamble with the dealers that offer below invoice but only get 3-4 allocations per month. I took a gamble and ordered from Granger on 11/1/21 for 2% below invoice.
Glad I bought a 2021 Mach 1 locally for MSRP in Feb of 2022 because my order for a 2022 with Granger has still NOT...
