I was told they have units built and ready just waiting on the lids to arrive. Apparently the supplier is behind. They should be receiving them early next week.

Nobody else has received their whipple? Any dates from November to February?

Let’s hope it gets shipped! I was told same thing today or Monday. Soon as it arrives will be scheduling to get it installed 1 or 2 weeks after arrival.

That’s so unacceptable man. Had us pay $10k up front to have to wait for 5 months plus? That’s ridiculous tbh. Could of applied that money elsewhere for the time being, then paid it when it was ready to actually ship. Who would of thought half a year wait is expected haha. Amazing product but...

My guess is that they assemble them all week and push them out Fridays and Mondays. So if yours doesn’t ship that week then you didn’t make the cut. I’m going on 21 weeks of waiting. I know there is others who have been waiting even longer.

GTR is a great shop, prices are high but it’s also due to the location. It has plenty of customers willing to pay. I would of loved to go there for install but I rather save where I can and build the car more.

They told me $2.5K. Usually charges more but Im doing a bundle deal, whipple stage 2, opg/cs gear, boost gauge and mmr timing guides. Hit them up Carlos is a really nice guy and reasonable. I’m still waiting on my whipple kit sadly but soon as it comes in I’ll be scheduling the install with them.

I was told Friday again 🙃 at this point I think they are just dragging me along for the ride.

No email or shipping info 🙃 so I doubt they were able to ship it. Hope they’re not toying with my emotions haha.

Even tho I agree with most people here about it being reckless and all the endless possibilities of what could go wrong. There is laws in place to handle these kind of things. Who are we to tell him to not do this or that. He’s a grown man who will face the consequences if they ever even arrive...
