Yep, I was the same. I noticed a couple of little scratches a few hours pickup and let the dealer know. They got it sorted without any hassle.

I understand the Mustangs supplied in the US aren't undersealed. In the UK, it's standard practise to underseal cars from the factory to protect them from stone chips and road salt rusting out the underside. Long story short, prior to being delivered in the UK, they get undersealed in...

Hopefully the protection on the underside is adequate though and we are not being fobbed off. I'd love to take it to Modurstang, but I know if there is any problem in the future, the work would obviously invalidate the corrosion warranty and I wouldn't have a leg to stand on...

Will cost even more to put the cars right in 5 or 10 years. However, those accountable won't care because they'll have left Ford to work somewhere else and it won't be their problem!

I've been told mine won't be sorted as it is within design spec. I'll just keep my eyes on it and make sure it doesn't succumb to tin worm. I don't think there's much else I can do...
