Took down a couple of half walls, and tore out two pantries. Screwed all sub flooring to the joists, then sealed the floors. Used synthetic roofing paper under the red oak flooring. Most people use tar paper, but it off-gasses. Laid hardwood throughout the entire first floor and 2nd floor...
The white dog was Maddie, our American Bulldog. We lost her in January, 3 months shy of her 13th birthday.
The tan pup is Ellie, our French Bulldog. She’s about 9 months old.
I thought that having the old one in the picture would be a nice touch haha. The house was a foreclosure and completely trashed. I’ve spent the last few years fixing it up, trying to do most of it on my own. Luckily as an HVAC contractor, I have good friends in other trades that have helped.
Thanks. The door and surrounding trim need to be replaced, but I cleaned them up and painted them for the time being. I actually did some body work to the metal door, could never tell there were a few big dents in it.
