Mine get ruined fairly quick, i have a nice pile of mf shop rags...i just buy the big bag at walmart and keep a rotation, tossing the shitty ones along the way.
Umn...unfortunately had to use my spare today......didnt see it, but i felt n heard something while on 287. Everything worked right and wheel is at dealership being replaced.
Good luck with that sweet stang and sorry for your loss. In todays world, i think that "live for today" motto goes a long way. My 90 gt was a tribute to lost friend from college days. Its what pushed me to grab my gt this summer.
Its pretty cool when stuff like this gets handed down.....u can never replace the memories you get with your fam. I told him we need to find the pics so i can post them for this crew to see ;)
Currently sitting at 2200 miles on my ride and I wasn't planning on changing it till 3k - 3500 miles. I see a lot 1st changes at like 1000-1500 miles. I planned on the ceratek for when its due ( out of caution for this tick) but I am curious as to why ppl are changing the oil at such a...
I feel you man, working on your own stuff with limited resources can be tough. Your making it look....dare i say...easy??!?! Lol I built a v8/c4 ranger street rod on my back, on my driveway in a month trying to get it done before snow fell a few years ago, befor kids, lol. Now with 2...
Idk if its enough bump but it did clean things alil under the hood. I do feel a ali more umph, but i paired it with an h pipe so maybe its just the added combo. Here are a couple pics to show some of the stock restrictions. Sounds tube comes off too.
I got that cai "sound" of by adding the k&n drop in with their pipe kit. It removes a bit of the restriction and sound tube from the factory set up. Satisfied with purchase and small gains it provided.
no problem bud. the parts listed are not all NOS, but nicely kept used stuff ( at least it appears nicely kept from his pics. I have a 8.8 rear with disk conversion, 3.73 LSD listed for sale. incase you wanna update that rear end. if your interested Id let it go pretty cheap.
man.. that's a lot of work, great job saving it. I'm sure you know, but there's a dude in NNJ Craigslist with tons of 67/68 parts daily.... incase you need something along the way.
it will increase your enjoyment as it works well to give a better clutch "feel". The stock one pushed back to hard imo. I went with the SR performance spring, not sure if there is alot of difference between it and the steeda spring.
edit... realized im in the wrong lane here with the GT350...
hat, shirts...whatever's good, from wherever i find it....mostly autozone lol I will be getting a coyote shirt now that i got my new gt. I'm also that guy that buys t shirts at car show events that I attend.
From what I understand as long as there is no CEL on and there is cc's on the car, it will pass. I've cleared a CEL a couple of days before inspection and it held long enough to pass. these guys dont put alot of effort into checking the "visual" stuff.
