I just happen to have a close up photo of when my system was stock.

I use rinseless washes when I'm short on time. Hopefully you're using a rinseless wash solution like ONR instead of regular soap? Although I have a few bins full of microfiber towels, I find it more efficient to use a wash mitt + a few clean towels to wipe.

If you use a power washer you need to be careful not to get too close to any areas where the edges are not wrapped. I'd also suggest spraying from the center to the edge. Otherwise you can take care of it like any other painted surface.

Sounds like you could've forgone the factory active exhaust if you don't like the sound.

I mean why stop at a bumper, just trade it in and get a new car. Or use touch up paint and call it a day.

That's bad luck if the electronics were affected. 1:10 diluted all purpose cleaner, a soft bristle brush, and microfiber towels will clean everything up nicely. Follow-up with water and some clean towels. Wiping off the sd card didn't work? :/

It's when manual owners can't deal with the advancement of technology and they start making up excuses like it's a nice leg workout in rush hour traffic. :)

Thanks for sharing the TSB. Especially if you have a polisher, I'd suggest fixing this yourself to avoid leaving the car at the dealer. Only you can make sure to tape off the necessary areas and avoid bumping/scratching the tail lights with the backing plate etc.

Hand over hand for the same reasons the guy with the annoying voice in the video explains. For most driving, I imagine any evasive maneuvers don't require that many turns anyway.

Owner's manual says 87 right? It'll be fine. Toss in some fuel injector cleaner occasionally if that helps your peace of mind.

Besides lube I'd remove the little motor to make sure it's seated properly. I had to supervise and be real hands on at the muffler shop to make sure everything was installed properly.

41 days now. Replaced cam phasers, lifters and it was towed back there to get whatever happened to my fuel system fixed.
