Did you burn up the stock clutch with just basic bolt ons or did you have more done to the car at some point before? Also, I know you said you don't have the tune dialed in or anything yet, but could you tell a difference at all in the idle characteristics with the cams when you got it running...
Sorry guys it's been awhile since I've checked this thread I about forgot about it! There has to be some more members around this area by now, if anyone is going to mustang week in July and leaving on the 17th shoot me a pm or post in this thread and we'll meet up and roll down together. Me and...
Me and a buddy are going down on the 17th and staying through the 24th, I'll be in my comp-o 15 gt and he'll be in his red 05 gt, he's got a 13 silver gt500 but I can't talk him into taking it because he don't want to put so many miles on it, he's one of "those" guys LOL! We're up for a convoy...
No suspension mods at all yet, but definitely ready to start. No better way to do just that than with *THE* best performing suspension parts company in the business, BMR! You guys rock, keep the awesome new products coming! If it says BMR, you can guarantee it does its intended job 110%. :headbang:
In for more updates, truly badass one of a kind car brother! I may have missed it earlier in the thread somewhere, I know you sold your works but what are you replacing them with? Are you gonna run the same wheel just with different offsets/widths, or a completely different wheel? I'm also a fan...
The only thing about the CJ is that they don't have near the amount of stuff to hide that out street legal cars need to have. They don't have all the strict emissions regulating equipment, no cruise, etc. It doesn't take many wires and hoses to run/control a "race" car, a street car is a whole...
I don't think you would regret it honestly, you'll love the gt350, it's an all around great car even in stock form.
P.s.- if you're looking to sell any parts give me a pm, always looking to upgrade, especially if you'd be willing to part with the on3 kit. HINT HINT lol
Any possible way some adaptations could be made to the kit for us guys running longtubes instead of the factory manifolds? I doubt it would be worthwhile for you guys, but hey, it's worth asking!
Sounds to me like if you've got enough money to afford all the toys you already have one more isn't going to hurt too much. I'd just like to be able to have enough extra cash after the bills are paid to justify being able to buy some form of forced induction at all for my 15! Haha
On a serious...
Anddd nobody has mentioned comp-o?? I think I could pull off a set of these on a comp car! It'd be worth a try, I'm up for the challenge btw! Lol Beautiful wheel man!! Can't wait to see the others being released!
And don't forgot all your usual completely plastered in public dudes cheering on those dudebros who don't know how to let off the throttle right in the middle of a crowded street! Of course that's what makes it all more fun to watch!! Lol
Khyber is right on that! If anybody is wanting to go down you better get on top of reserving a place to stay! It get booked waayyyyy early and if it keep growing like it has been expect upward of 3500+ mustangs!
Picture mustangs as far as the eye can see.......then add in a few thousand more....that's mustang week! Tons of cool cars, vendors, burnouts, pulling out sideways, bluelights, sirens, tickets, the list goes on and on.
I just thought that it may be a good idea if the vendors wanted to chime in and say if they're going to be down there or not I'll edit my original post and put a list of all the vendors that are for sure going to be attending the show that week. Worth a shot and would make a worthwhile list, at...
