Nice review, too bad there are no lap times. I think also you'll get most of that difference made up when you get the base with handling pack, add camber plates, and swap wheels / tires. Will be interesting to see what comes available for strut tuning from the aftermarket / springs from Ford...

I Don’t disagree. One can always hope still. Though the fact that they did have the cover in there made me doubt that the camber plates were included. Guess we just continue to wait and see.

The dealer, Lasco Ford, was on the Facebook group just posting and I asked if the camber plates / strut mounts were included even though they weren’t in the video from Speed Phenom and they said they were not. So looks like catch can yes in handling pack but camber plates no.

Good info .... So sounds like Base has 305 front and 315 rear but with 11" wheels front and rear and CFTP has the same 305 front and 315 rear but on a staggered 11" front and 11.5" rear. Putting 315s on all 4 corners with 11.5" rims sounds like the ticket and still significant savings in...

I have wheels on order from Siganture. Going 11.5” on all 4 corners. But just trying to determine what’s really going to be on the car and also thinking about another set.

Can’t wait to see the parts. My car hasn’t even been pulled for assembly yet and I am already finding too much nice stuff! Especially interested in the wing as I have a base coming and it would be nice to swap to a GT4/CFTP style spoiler for the road course driving I plan on doing.

Since you were out there can you state clearly what the base wheel and tire size will be? I have seen all kinds of conflicting information. Does the base get 20x11 up front and 29x11.5 in the rear with the same 305 up front and 315 in the rear? Or does it get a smaller wheel / tire than CFTP...

Will be interesting to see how a 20x11.5 goes vs the factory staggered. That could be an attractive option for tracking. I was running 18x11 square on my S197. How would it affect the street manners?
