Nice post. I had to look up "floor mounted high-beams button" - I'm only 34 :)
I had to laugh at "armrest ashtray" though - got one in my '97 bmw.
I still think there needs to be some kind of better solution than just paddle shifters, and just buttons on the wheel messes me up mentally like am...
Leasing isn't the sweet spot though, I'm sure you agree, but it is appealing.
There are loads of people who turn low mileage leased BMWs in with the car looking brand new after 2-3 years, only 15-30K miles. Make sure you have/get some kind of transferable warranty and you're good to go with...
Thanks guys, I can't count how many times I laughed in this thread, and I thought all the fart jokes had been done already. LMAO bake it in, rolling down passenger's window to screw them (I think I did that once to someone I was pissed at).
Pricing is a bit eye popping. I know it's been 3 years, but the Premium Ecoboost now costs what a Base GT did. Well, I guess I'll be picking up the scraps from 15-16s trading up!
Disagree. Easiest to haggle of course is a dealer dying to move stock, but if you're willing to call around and...
That's a massive business failure in 2018. The base radio looks like something *cheap* from the early 2000s. It's going to look really long in the tooth in 2020!
Other than that, news seems great! Go Ford
Oh for sure. Exciting good news if you follow the Mustang.
I know its early but I can't wait to see what the next gen Mustang/Camaro can do & look like. Chevy likely will realize it doesn't need to up its performance, it needs to update its DD capabilities if you want big sales. Mustang's...
And in drag strip mode.
The new specs are amazing, but 0-60 times don't translate to street driving like they used to. Awesome news either way, especially for drag guys.
Wow, Ford did a great job!
I wonder how big the difference 0-60 is without PP and then without the auto.
I hope the low time isn't a lot of drag/line lock magic that you don't feel on the street, but obviously some of it is.
Exciting!
Did you try to negotiate? It's a deal he wants. If he'd do 26K, he'll do a little higher. Get *something* extra, even if its $500 or $1000 more. If you aren't that good at negotiating, just repeat "just go up a bit and the deal is done, I gotta get something."
I don't think the '18 looks good in Mustard Yellow. Hard to judge the black accent package this way.
I look at these yellow photos and think "huh this is ridiculously ugly smh the '18 is awful" then I scrolled down and saw member Ace's sig car, the blue one with white stripes and said "the '18...
I had thought the small screen was confirmed for base '18, glad to hear it is unknown! I'd like to see nice sales for the Mustang and it seems sad for base buyers to get such an outdated looking interior on a *2018* car :)
Let's hope Ford gets it right.
I read that article and in context to me it seemed fair. They complained a lot about the flaws everyone complains about - visibility, vents, trunk space, back seat room.
The Camaro in current form has tech that is way ahead of the S550. The '18 will address that. In current form the Camaro is...
Pretty sure OP a few posts up said he can afford the car.
Also, putting down big down payments is a bad idea, IMO. If that's the only way you can get a good interest rate, sure, but personally I can invest in either my own business or stocks that do far better than the rates I'm loaned on...
