Hadn’t don’t it yet but battery is DEAD in her today. Been three weeks since I drove her and last time she didn’t exhibit any signs of a low or dying battery. So I’ll be shopping for that sometime today.
So what are we doing for fog lights now that Shelby America, American Muscle, and CJPP no longer sell the front turn signal bringer combo?
Wanting to improve the front lighting situation, I’ve already replaced the headlight bulbs but it isn’t enough.
Been with my company for 25yrs so as a gift they gave me a gift card. Used that to buy some odds and ends for the Shelby.
Front wheel rock gaurds
LED headlight bulbs
GT500 spoiler and Gurney flap
Shelby dead pedal
Get it while you can prices have been rising for the last 5 yrs or so. I originally just wanted an old beetle but this Porsche just fell in my lap and I had to scoop it up.
Yes for sure. The Corrado was running and driving I pulled the motor for a rebuild and plan on putting it back in this winter.
The Porsche is a retirement project. I just couldn’t pass up that deal… not for an air cooled Porsche.
yeah it is a lot of poo, but it's my poo and I love those other cars..... There are two other cars in there.....1993 VW Corrado VR6, and 1971 Porsche 911T wide body lol
I would have loved to have a 3rd car garage. We live in a very cookie cutter sub-division and there were no options for add-ons or anything like that 22yrs ago when we moved in. Also didn't have the addiction I have now LOL
After a few weekends of downsizing and organizing I was finally able to park the Shelby in the garage and have room to walk in through the garage and get to my tool boxes if needed.
Yikes ok, I'd wanna see the bearings myself, especially if you aren't sure what oil or possible additives are in there. Just because I lucked out doesn't mean you will. I mean I hope you will, but I was too paranoid to NOT visually inspect what I could myself.
