Wondering if anyone running BMR's minimum drop springs have ran them on the track. Looking at these and thinking about running them with an otherwise stock PP set up. If you have these and run them hard, how do you like the handling compared to stock? Thanks
I am awaiting my new Mustang and am already booked for an Auto-X school and plan to run at a Goodguys event in July. I also plan to run PDE's at a couple of the more local tracks. I am an SCCA member and have worked races locally and been involved somewhat.
Anyways the thought has crossed my...
Looking for the lower grill on the front of the car, preferably cheap. Has to be the GT version with fangs. I want to use it for some R&D to make air ducts for the brakes. If you are interested, I could send you a set in return for your lower grill once I get this working. Thanks
After a bit of research and advice from people here, I think I have figured out my first mods for my coming Mustang. Note I will have fun on the street but trying to set it up for track days. Mind you I am not trying to spend a ton of money right now so I can't do everything. I know I could do...
I am about to buy a 19x10 set of wheels for a square set up for the track (road course) and auto-x. I will be using the PP wheels and tires for normal street use. Anyways I see a couple options and not exactly sure which way to go. I plan to go with the Michelin Pilot Super Sport's. Any help on...
Looking at picking up a 19x10 set of the GT350 style wheels. Of course SVE and MRR both have versions and the SVE's are a bit cheaper. Both seem to be of similar construction and weight. For the price difference, is there any reason to choose the MRR's over the SVE's? Note that I will be running...
I have my GT Performance Pack on order and will be taking it to track days and auto-x this summer. There are so many choices for wheels and tires it's mind boggling. Thought I could use some help from others already hitting the track with suggestions on what works and maybe some stuff to stay...
Shopping around for pricing to order a 2017 GT. Waiting to get pricing from Koon's in Baltimore but in the mean time have touched base with my local dealer to see what they say. See the email trail below. Thoughts? He's saying he can do $36,500 but he also missed the mark on his MSRP. Thinking...
So I've been here a while planning to get a new Mustang. I haven't yet of course, and now I want a 2018 because of what is looking to be a good deal of improvements. Of course time will tell on that. Problem is if word on the street is correct, looks like I wouldn't have one in my driveway until...
Looking to get a heater for the garage and after doing some research I see many options and don't know what to do. Note that I am leaning towards something I turn on when I plan to work in the garage, not something I will leave on all winter. I currently have a torpedo heater that heats things...
Thinking this is a good price but curious to see what others think. 2016 Race Red GT Premium with PP and ebony premier trim, 6MT. They are asking $36,737. I think the price it right but should I be able to do better since it's a '16?
Waiting for more details on the '18 before I decide anything...
I have been here a little while though I don't have a Mustang. I am in the process of selling my house and purchasing a new house so it's not exactly the best time to go buy a new car. I am waiting for things to work out and settle down, then I'll be looking at getting a new GT. For now I figure...
Just want to point out, when I see Tri State area I don't know what that is. Also I am sure there are a lot of "tri-state" areas all over the US. Here it is WV, PA, and OH. Just think it could maybe use a different name or add the state codes to it to stop any confusion.
Hello. I'm looking at getting a 2016 GT Premium with the performance package. I'm just curious what everyone that has a new Mustang thinks of it. What do you like and dislike? Are you having good luck with your new car or are there problems with the new model?
I want one but part of me is...
