I've pre-ordered from you only to find out once again Ford has decided to maintain it's almost 2 year practice of announcing release dates they know not to be true. Is there anyone within Ford that believes telling customers the truth after you've taken their money is a good business practice...
Ford Performance changed the power ratings on their website:
Before-
Peak gains of 30hp and 70lbs/ft at ~5500rpm
After -
· Peak gains of 25hp at ~5500rpm and 70lbs/ft at ~2200rpm
I went in wanting the V-6, but quickly found out you couldn't get the bells and whistles. I will say if Ford ever decides to offer the Twin Turbo V-6 from the 2017 Fusion to the Mustang,.....(I can only imagine what tuners could do with that engine)
All of us have been down that rabbit hole with Ford Racing. My money is on 2nd Qtr 2017 release announcement followed by end of summer 2017, followed by........
I sent a msg via FB Ford Performance asking about the constant delays and misinformation. They actually responded last night (and of course another delay. I strongly believe the Focus is priority for them)
"We hear you loud and clear. We want to start selling this as soon as possible. Don't...
Ford Performance Racing Parts NZ lists the 2.3L Ecoboost tune results in an increase from 233kw to 290Kw (312hp to 388hp - doesn't state TQ figures). They list Tune, Air, and Exhaust along with strut bar and badging. Would love to see most of that makes it to the US version.
Read the last paragraph. There is hope still:

I do get it. I don't remember these constant delays regarding 350hp tune for the 350 HP Focus RS (also 2.3L). I just see a constant moving of goal posts while they release tunes for both the Focus and GT (you could even count the Monutune Fiesta). To me they are sending a signal they consider...
And yet they drop a 325 HP twin-turbo V6 into the Fusion for 2017 (Fusion Sport) or offer a Fusion Platinum for 37K? They could take both that engine and interior and drop into V6 Mustang. I wanted the V6 and the upgraded interior. They make you choose one or the other. Ford, if you are...
As Ford is now putting a 325hp TT V-6 in the Fusion (imagine once the tuner folks ge their hands on this) and already pushed the 2.3L ecoboost to 350hp in the Focus RS, I get the impression both the ecoboost/V-6 mustang crew are being given the finger by Ford.

Gotta ask, why not drop the Focus RS engine in the Ecoboost and call it a day? Why so many issues with the Ford Tune for the 2.3 Mustang but unable to resolve for Mustang? What is their goal?
