Interesting on the ETA. I’m sure just an anomaly in the system, given some of the odd things I’ve read in the GT500 section with those guys checking theirs. I’m sure it will get there soon.
Sweet on the XPEL! I’d highly recommend you have him do the rear quarter panels in front of the rear...
Yeah, as you and KB suggest, all the butt joints the way I did mine are potential downsides. I will definitely be keeping a close eye and keeping everything clean. Each way has it’s trade offs. I agree with you, I could see what you are saying with the white stripes.
KB. Looking forward to you guys getting your GT500’s.
Agreed on correction before PPF.
On installing PPF over the stripes as individual pieces...that’s where the talent of the installer comes in . He was telling me that you can’t count on the vinyl stripes being of consistent width. It depends...
I had my installer do separate pieces over the stripes on my GT350. As KB says, if you do one piece over the stripes and paint, you are likely to get a line of air on either side that will be visible. My installer highly recommended that I do separate pieces over the stripes for that reason...
I believe it’s like a recorded waypoint in its travels. I think your dealer or FP would be able to tell the actual location it passed through from the VVR (Vehicle Visibility Report).
My experience has been incredible. I absolutely love the car and you will, too!
I just purchased a new set of wheels - Signature SV902 (forged) and am moving away from the Cup 2’s since I don’t track it. While amazingly grippy, the Cup 2’s grab and throw any piece of gravel you drive over. I...
My dealer was very accommodating to me in that they let me be part of the PDI, which includes the splitter installation. They let me remove all the protective films and coverings. They even called me when the hauler arrived and let me come up and give the blessing on the sign off with the...
Everything you said here is so true. I just got my 2020 GT350 in late September. Velocity Blue, black roof, black stripes. The joy of hearing the sound of the FPC at any RPM is hard to quantify. In the 45 days or so I got to drive it before winter set in, I got more looks and compliments...
I had posted earlier that I knew this dealership. I think you are right on the money. No way this dealer sells one with low ADM without getting something out of it.
I live in this area and know this dealership. When I was looking around at Raptors in spring '18, this place was asking $10k ADM on the multiple Raptors they had sitting on the lot. I quickly left and ordered an '18 at MSRP from another local dealer that had none on their lot. I don't believe...
This is the dealer I bought my 2020 GT350 from. I remember talking to them about GT500 allocations when I was ordering my GT350 in July and they had told me their first allocations were going to the owners. This car never showed up on their website, which corroborates that it wasn’t a stock order.
They can submit the order without an allocation and it will be in the order bank, but it will just sit there and not get pulled until an allocation is available. A lot of this comes down to dealer trust. Some are honest about allocations, some are not. When I ordered mine, my dealer was honest...
Hey Howman. Mine went into "Trim Line" sometime before I got up in the morning on the 9/19 and was listed as "Produced" later in the evening on the same day. Mine then shipped on 9/25 and I received on 9/25 because I'm only 50 minutes or so from the FRAP. I was lucky in regards to shipping as...
I haven't looked at these stickers, but if you look at the four digit number just to the right of the blend date, that would give you the likely order in which these cars will be built. Because they don't build in VIN order, they use this number to track the order in which the cars will be...
Hey Howman. Joshua mentioned an approximate build date on the sticker. This will be the "blend" date at the top. Usually they are built within a day or so of the blend date.
I absolutely love the car! She pulls really hard >4k RPMs and oh, the sound!! She handles great as well!! The Cup...
