I like the feel and handling of the sport mode better, but when cruising around with my wife she prefers the smoother ride of normal. Part of why I like the feel of the sport mode is part of why I like the manual 6-speed, is that it makes me feel more connected with the road and the driving...

This Thread is about PP1 not superchargers, which is why I am reading it and not reading a thread about Superchargers that I am not interested in.

One of the reasons I wanted the PP1 was the 3.73 gears, The Michelin Pilot 4s tires and especially the brakes. Have not intention to add a supercharger.

I wanted the PP1 package, the only time my car will see a race track is when we go to watch a race. I wanted a good pkg that didn't require a lot of extra after market parts and work. My shoulders don't allow me to do a lot of it myself anymore. The GT with Magne Ride and PP1 does pretty much...

I am actually very lucky in that he rides well, he get's in the vehicle and lays down on his bed ( if he has one) Getting him in doesn't look all that bad as long as the seat is all the way forward.

My $0.02 worth is a vote for the manual, I'm old enough that I learned how to drive with a manual. For a daily driver I prefer auto's, but to have fun and cruise a bit I really really prefer the manual.

I do like the handling of the modern mustang, but there is the cool wow factor of the oldies. Both have there place and are nice.

Should have put that a little differently, they handle like crap in tock trim compared to a modern car. They are nice to drive and yes they can increase in value especially the collector cars.

To me even though I am a fan of the gasoline engine, time and technology are always changing, when the first cars came out many didn't want them as they we're very unreliable and couldn't go all that many places at that time compared to a horse and wagon. Deals always depend on how old inventory is kicking around. Typically at least up here in Canada the dealer can only floorplan it for one year and then they have to pay for it. That is when the real motivation to sell it starts. That said with the shortage of cars you may have a harder time...
