    I hit 230° this weekend just regular driving. 80° with a dew point of 65°. I use motorcraft oil.

    And the verdict is in.... It's the HP hose. This is #5 and #4 for this summer. Crack at the weld point again. Anyone care to guess why the weld is breaking? Heat, vibrations, poor quality parts? The dealership put a call into Ford.

    It's all been covered under the ESP so far. I have 69K miles. There was no warning just got in and hot was blowing. I didn't have the super charger sound or loud noise like in the pass for the compressor.

    2 HP hoss and compressor. Currently I think I'm on the 4th HP and 3rd compressor over the last two summers.

    Which do you think it will be? The HP hose or Compressor? Why do these parts fail nonstop? Is there any real fix other than just replacing the same old part? What is the cause of these failures? Heat? Vibrations? RPM? Crappy suppliers?

    I don't know how you all can not drive those cars. I am coming up on 70k on my 2020 GT350 summer only driving. Not sure what I would replace this car with? Maybe another one I guess. Can't afford a Porsche GT4.
