Does the CARAV 12-240 work with the base model radio or the premium? I couldn't find any information. Their site just states "select models". Will this T-harness connect all pins from the ACM through to the amp so that the existing amp and speakers will all still function as before? Thanks...

@IronG is correct, my car had a hydraulic valve lash adjuster fail. The dealership replaced the bad lash adjuster,and that didn't fix the problem so they replaced the complete head assembly on the drivers side of the engine. It's been running great since but I only have about 3k miles on it...

I doubt the cops are going to give me a ticket for not having a shift pattern displayed in my car. Just being a smart a$$, lol.

I also can't believe how many shift knobs are out there for sale, American Muscle, CJ Pony Parts, Ebay, etc.... that regardless of heavier or lighter than stock, do not post the weight! WTH?

I'm glad to hear it's not just in my head and that others agree the weight helps to smooth out the MT-82. Regardless of weight, the factory knob is way to small! I don't want a shift pattern on top, and I really wish someone made a weighted knob wrapped in leather! I would love a short throw...

I am also curious if there are any cons? I do wonder how much extra wear, if any, the heavier knob causes the shifting mechanisms?

I'll let you know tomorrow after the car sits out in the sun all day while I'm at work. I have black leather so I do use a sun shade in the car when it's parked.

After having it installed for a day, I have to say, it's growing on me... EDIT: The look of the crinkle white that is, as far as the shifting goes it's great!

Yes, it's textured, the color is wrinkle white. It is actually machined from stainless and powder coated. If I could do it over, I think I would have went with pearl white. I will say, it is a nice piece and does help with the shifting. I got if from Shift Solutions, here's the link...
