Mine is a 2020 but shouldn't be any difference
I just measured the hight from floor to pinchweld - 5.9 inches
I'll advice you to pick the 3.5 inches one - then you'll also have a little room for a rubber insert so it won't be metal on metal... I did that myself 👍
I must be a weird European then, cause I don't like the red taillights :crazy:
However I didn't keep my OE ones cause the light pattern on the export models was bugging me. I ended up ordering the VLand ones and then I did it in smoke due to the color of my car and I love it!
@pappagray
Oh and as an addition to my post about export Mustangs... Export Mach 1s doesn't have the HP option.
It is not because they are lazy when getting the car for a review - it probably is specced the best way they could, but HP is just not an option outside US
... Which is why my hunt...
Export Mustangs is not specified as PP.
The only options we can differ between are if the seats should be leather/premium leather with heat/cool seats or recaro and also the B&O sound system.
Of trim we can choose the chrome delete and/or forged wheels. Black roof. Spoiler delete are standard...
I might step on some toes here but I can't understand why that horrible honeycomb pattern taillight covers for cars has become so damn popular... it looks like shit
Or the "I don't have a lot of time" way to check if the oil pump works :crackup:
I did before, but after getting a car where the filter is almost "upside down" I haven't done it and honestly I don't think it will do any difference. As stated the oil pump will most likely fill the filter before...
That's required by EU regulations.
In EU it is required to have "asymetric light" to light op the road further in the side of the road you're driving to be able to see pedestrians or other "soft objects in traffic"
Left is flat beam - right is asymmetric
No options on headlights.
As already stated - 15-17 models have Xenon HIDs and 18+ is LED.
However a difference in headlights is the export version of the 15-17 does have the tri bars in the headlights but they aren't illuminated. How Ford figured that should be the way to go must be a forever...
Well I have the children I need so guess that's the way to go! :crackup:
I wish I were... To make it fast and easy to understand the rules are roughly... When importing a vehicle from outside EU we have to pay 12% of the price including shipping for customs - then 25% import taxes. Afterwards...
@Jmeo you have got to STOP posting all these interesting and cool things about GT500!
This vehicle would be around $360.000 with Danish taxes and I only have 2 kidneys I can sell so don't get me too hyped! :crazy:
So what you're saying is... We should swap our Coyote / Voodoo / Predator with 3 spraycans with extreme high pressure and our 255 / 275 width tires with a 2?
Got it! Be right back! :crazy:
@Jmeo
I'm sorry but that's not correct. It is only on the 18-21 Mustang that the export cars has white reflectors in headlights. All 15-17 both US and export has yellow reflectors. :)
I'm really looking forward to your own pictures with great details instead of these quick shots in production...
So I'm gonna revive this thread with this... erhh.. thing that has been put for sale in Denmark.
And for those who can spot the worst thing... Yes - this has been done to a 50 year anniversary edition :crazy:
