My only thought was my Mercedes dealer refused to do the first oil change prior to the scheduled 10k. It was a S63 Cabriolet. My only thought is, why do the manufacturers insist on this when it’s a customer expense? That was a 603 up twin turbo.

Has anybody waited the full 10k miles for the first oil change as per the owner manual? I have a ‘21 and I am wondering if changing it prior could be the cause.
