I hit a piece of aluminum road debris on the highway. The corner of my front splitter, side skirt and passenger rear wheel were all damaged. Wondering if the wheel can be fixed somehow or I just need to replace along with the other parts. Hard to tell from the photo but it took a nice chunk of...
I spoke to a tuner about getting a 91 tune and he said the gains would be minimal.. that it wouldn't be worth it since the fuel is so bad down here. Bummer.
I was quoted 900 from the shop that did my ppf for a 7 year protection.
Another shop quoted me 2,400 for a 7 year. They also quoted me 300 for a one year. Think I'll just go that route for now.
Honestly dont know how you can argue 5.2 failures vs 5.0 failures. Of course engines will blow but the ratio between the two is a bit off especially considering how many more 5.0s are produced. Didn't shelby owners file a class action lawsuit against ford for overheating not too long ago?
Because one isnt leaving people stranded on the road. Also as soon as someone hears the engine ticking they take it straight to the dealer get it replaced and it still ticks. After all the years of production you'd think they'd work the bugs out.
The my purchase was justified thread lol.
I'll add fuel to the fire! Theres also a 90 page thread here about gt350 owners and their engine problems. So there's that.
I would've gone with a 350 if I couldve afforded it.
I would only modify if your ready to pony up for out of warranty maintenance costs. I've seen people throw superchargers on with less than 1k miles and have no issues though
If you want the digital dash, active exhaust and rev match then go pp2. If you just want a drivers car go with the 350. There are more variables but those are the main ones imo.
