There's a Stinger in the car park out back at my work (we're owned by the Korean National Oil Company) - it looks as dull as dishwater, maybe that's one of the advantages - it doesn't shout look at me.
I'm positive there are quite a few cars that would hand the Mustang it's butt apart from the...
Looking awesome Spoonex - I think Ford totally nailed the 15-18, there's not really a bad angle and the 6GR's set it off.
Will be a lot easier to clean than the standard alloys that's for sure :D
I've had a couple of red cars with black alloys, accents (Boxster S, and a Mini JCW) and it's a...
I've owned a PDK car, an 8 speed ZF car and an S-tronic car. I now have a manual 5.0 GT :D
I could not give a single rats ass whether an auto is quicker than me changing gears (they probably all are) or a single stuff whether it makes it a quicker car :frusty:
I want the simple interaction...
To be honest I've only driven it home from the garage, and walked to work today so can't say for sure.
There are speed bumps in the campus where I stay, and it cleared those easily
I had my springs done yesterday, just shy of £400 for install and alignment .. a little more than I thought I'd be, but you can be @ £150 for alignment on it's own.
It certainly looks better, and doesn't seem to have impacted the ride quality at all on the 1 mile drive home. Not had a chance...
I agree, although with the 18's being substantially more to buy new, I think mid 30's for an 18 car is a fair bit away yet.
Autotrader puts my car @£30k, with 5.0's starting @£28k. I would guess anyone who's interested in buying a pony car knows there's a facelifted model out (as do the...
I don't think there is any way a 15 Mustang GT, with average mileage and condition will be at a dealer this year (3 years old) with a price tag near 17K. No way.
That looks fantastic.
Is that 19" x 9.5" + 39 front and rear?
I love that wheel design too, I wonder if there's somewhere in the UK I could source them?
I guess knowing what they are would help, and also if there are any other manufacturers (Judd, Vossen etc.) that do a similar wheel I...
The pics of the 18 look lovely :D .. it's a great colour and I think the darker colours suit the 18 more as it takes your eye away from the (in my eyes) less cohesive front bumper/apron.
How it looks is always an opinion though, and let's be honest it's a facelift, not a radical new shape so...
I'm getting mine done on Thursday by my local trusted garage. They've not had a Mustang in before but I'm sure it can't be that hard.
I'll report back with cost once they're on :D
The clue is in the title I think, it's a GT.
It's not supposed to be the last word in handling or feedback. It's a muscle car and a GT first and foremost and I think it's really really good at that role with the minor flaw that the range (even with 31 mpg :D) isn't that good. It could do with...
I'm now about 4 months into the ownership of my 5.0 GT manual
I'm up in Aberdeen, and my wife had to go to Elgin on Saturday to do some work so I offered to chauffeur her up. She jokingly said she'd pay my fuel costs (retracted after I said it would probably be about £50 :D) for the...
I guess then I'll own up to not adding to this thread constructively in my earlier reply .. as I can't answer the question asked
I just like Mustang discussions and it's not the thread to discuss the relative merits ... errrr oopsies :D
As Duncan would say 'Emmm ooot'
In terms of speed, handling etc. etc. I have no doubt that you can get the Ecoboost to accelerate, stop, steer and handle as well, if not better than the v8 :) with a few choice mods. The 4 pot is lighter so the Eco probably handles better out of the box.
Would I have considered one, no...
I've a black pony badge for the front grill, and may dechrome the chrome 5.0's (thinking I'll try plasti-dip as I have some in the garage)
My Dad has bought me a Ford Racing gear knob so that's going on.
I've Eibach springs in the garage (picked up from Ford Inverness a few weeks back) which...
Jag looks fantastic (although I don't do blue cars) .. it does look like a class above a Mustang if that makes any sense.
It looks like a 100K car to me, when the Mustang looks about 40K.
Makes no sense, but there you go :D
I'm quite happy to chat about any car really, I visit Pistonheads regularly.
Just good to get opinions/have discussions about cars from genuine petrolheads, which I would assume most Mustang owners would claim to be.
The Evora S has more tuning potential than the 981 being supercharged and all that. It just popped into my head as the Jag is also supercharged.
I bought a Boxster when my buddy had his Evora, and I will admit that the difference in quality of the product (not talking mechanicals) was vast...
Certainly had no real complaints about the ZF8 in my 335i, in terms of upshift time, responsiveness to paddles and it was also good in Sport/+
My only complaint about it was it was an auto :p and when it was cold it I hated the 1-2 change (which I guess is because the torque converter isn't...
