That dealership is full of shyt and lying to you. If it's the car that I think I've seen before, it's also missing the stripe on the trunk lid. That car might have suffered some damage. The R package INCLUDES the carbon fiber wing. Find me a person that wants to pay for the R package and...
You can always tell your wife that it's beneficial to take advantage of the cheap financing right now. It'll offset the cost of taking on another car note a month or 2 early.
Here is a great deal on a 2019. Ask for Jim Zielinski, he took care of me when I purchased my 2018 GT350 from him. They don't have a problem shipping the car to out of state buyers.

Dealerships don't want to hold old stock, even if it just arrived. Especially when 20s are hitting the ground. If they sell now, it's cash on hand without any further carrying costs.

While I don't disagree that it is a lot of features for the money, it was included free of charge in the 2018 convenience package. The $500 cost was added after separated out the heated/cooled seats option in 2019. :)
FYI - I think you misinterpreted my velocity blue opinion as criticism of...
The cooled seats are a $500 option in 2019, so it's most likely dealerships hedging their bets and trying to appeal to the masses and also making more money with a higher optioned car. Not everyone can fit into the recaros....
I've seen 19 GT350s sell for below invoice. 60k for an almost 66k sticker car. Thay would reduce some of the 20k spread to 14-15k that you're seeing for 20 GT350s.
