Hmm, I just looked at the log of a wot run on 93 octane, same tune as above. Bunch of positive knock. (that's the log shown below) The log of wot on this tune with e85 in the tank showed essentially no positive knock, and a good bit of negative. I guess that means the tuner needs to pull...
Guys, can you help me interpret this? It's cruising on the interstate at about 70 mph, does this knock reading mean more timing can be added? The whole log is about a minute, and is basically full of zero knock with occasional excursions into the negative region just like what the picture shows.
Probably the ones you can't see out of. When they test new autopilot systems they should use camaros to avoid alarming the public. No one will be able to see that a human isn't driving.
Skimming through the pages, it looks like I was wrong about it probably being the converters. I'm glad I was wrong in this case-if it's a tuning issue instead, that should be much cheaper and easier to fix.
Keep in mind, not all rotational weight is created equal, even if the moment of inertia of the part is the same. Changing the driveshaft on a performance package car in particular should yield better gains than changing the one on, say, my auto car with 3.15's. My reasoning is that the...
Who said he's mad? I'd laugh at their dumb asses too. That's it, stupid, keep the car on the lot for 50,000 years, paying interest on it the whole time, because you're too greedy to get right on the price. I had a similar situation with the '14 fiesta st I bought in late '15. They had the...
I've been feeling the vibration, so today I took my car to a dealer about 25 miles away, one with a better reputation than my local one. A tech drove it and then I guess put it on a lift. The verdict is bad driveshaft, which is what I figured it would be. They ordered the part. I've used...
I can sure see me maybe buying that a bit later. Those gains are really impressive for an intake system. How does it sound? I prefer as close to stock as possible on sound these days-guess I'm showing my age.
Adam, at what vacuum level do you consider something to be a restriction? I have a sensitive meter calibrated in inches of water, and I did some testing on my ecoboost by measuring the vacuum being pulled underneath the filter housing.
