If a dealer gave me a written guarantee to sell me a GT350 at invoice, I'd happily slap down a $5k deposit tomorrow. But I don't expect that kind of deal to be available anytime soon. Which is fine. I can wait.

Also wondering: Since Ford apparently isn't going to offer any alternative factory wheel options for the standard GT350 (besides black), is it likely that Ford Racing or Shelby American will offer alternative choices of the same weight and stiffness but in non-black versions?

So say you get the standard GT350 with the Technology Package. How much do you think it would cost to add the oil cooler, transmission cooler, and differential cooler (All OEM) as post-title mods?

I'd still buy the GT350. I've wanted a high performance Mustang since I was 7 years old. I've never wanted a Camaro of any sort.

Report the dealers to USAA. Honoring the TrueCar price is the entire point. If the dealer won't do it then they shouldn't be participating in the USAA car buying program.

In a way, we do. Whatever Ford chooses will inevitably be used as a marketing piece. If Ford chooses something inexplicable or awkward or uncool-sounding, it may (rationally or not) affect consumer's buying decisions. So to some degree, consumers will be voting with their dollars as to whether...

If Ford really wanted to piss off GM they could always resurrect the "Corsair" nameplate for their notional Corvette competitor. I think they last used that with some model of their old Edsel division. :p

It would be nice to see some more pictures of what purchasers will be getting. I would really like to see the tech package interior, any wheel options, and live shots of Avalanche gray as well as the other colors.
