The DWS 06 Plus is a great performance tire for all around drivability, but probably wont do you any huge favors on the track. If you're looking to stay with Continentals, try the Extreme Contact Sport 02.

Definitely looks repairable. A proper patch in the tire will last the life of the tire. If you are close to a Discount Tire location, store personnel will repair your tire free of charge!
