I had a 2013 fusion that did this, but I always chalked it up as the unit updating itself. It always came back. Must have happened 3-5 times in the year and a half that I had it.

This video is a teaser. Randy made that pretty clear when he suggested that one should not drive the "R" first. It's going to get interesting very soon!

So which one of you lucky few guys with these in your garage is going to be the first to post a pic of a sub-4-second 0-60 time from your track apps?

I agree with all of you, but Ford did tout the GT500 in 2013 for having the most horsepower ever (662) for a "production V8" at the time. They will brag when they get the chance.

I'm with kiwiford on this. Is there an AMERICAN made car that has EVER been made, naturally aspirated, with more HP? If not, why wouldn't Ford tout that?
It could be argued that Chevy's L88 produced more, but I think others should chime in on this.

The R spins less, no doubt due to the extra width and stickiness of the wider tires than the non-R. Couple that with lighter weight, less wheel weight and unsprung weight, and it'll be a tangible difference in 0-60 and 1/4 mile times.

What about the 2+2 option? For those that don't need the back seats and would like the extra room for "stuff" it would look kind of cool. I thought that was kind of a cool feature back in the day.

I think the 1:25 is pretty close to right on; it may have even done it a bit under, putting it neck-and-neck with the mighty Z06 for 2nd place on that list. AND, let's not forget that there is a 150-200 lb. passenger riding along.

People, Black and Race Red are freakin' unbelievable. Don't even need stripes. Black is my favorite, but that Red one on this last video makes my eyeballs pop out of my head!

Ford GT350/R First Drives/Reviews Thread
Me thinks that the "mystery man" might be Kemal Curic, lead designer of the S550. Watching it again- I'm definitely sure.
I'll bet Kemal took the guy's video and kept it until now, when more information is now being divulged.
How did you get this...
Valley Inn (or something like that- I can't remember the exact name). It's on I-94 just west of where I-94 and 95 intersect, about 4 miles west of Hudson. (East metro)
Be sure to bring enough "refreshments" and snacks. They show 3 movies. They'd probably start at about 9pm this time in July, so...
As far as getting the car for MSRP, will you really know before its time to sign the papers? I've heard others on this forum go through similar situations and had similar promises made only to have their hearts ripped out of their chests when it came time to fill out the paperwork. Not trying to...
