I agree on the decision to get the GT as I also grew up in the muscle car age and had a couple myself. I plan on retiring this summer and part of that plan is a new mustang. I've always wanted one... my wife says I've earned it and who am I to argue as she is always right. Right? So I'll gain...

I agree. I love the look on the Shelby. I want to install the DD LED switchback turn signal lamps and the fogs just don't seem belong. At least not in that location. I think there was probably a reason Ford opened that up on the Shelby.

Thanks for the info concerning the 19's not clearing the PP Brembos. I was hoping to stay with 19's so I could run a higher profile tire but if I have to go with 20's I will. I want to run a square set-up so I can rotate the tires. I'm trying to cut a deal with the dealer on a swap...we'll see...

The slots are part of the aero package along with extractor vents on the hood. I know there's a video out there somewhere with a Ford engineer going over all the particulars.:ford:
