Along the lines of what you guys have said, whether or not the S550 will actually look like a modified evolution of the S197, it is smart for Ford to make the camouflaged prototype look like it is just that. Even some enthusiasts question whether it is actually just a S197 body underneath so...
Here is what I'm thinking re the 3.7L. Might be 2 possibilities:
1. They decide to carryover the 3.7L and slot the 2.3L in between the V6 and V8 in ALL markets. This seems to be what most are expecting. But i would not be surprised if:
2. The 3.7L carries over for one model year as the...
This. In a hearbeat.
Screams Mustang while being less retro. One change- with what we *think we know, your artist may need to take off some of the bulk of the hood and give the body a lower CoG.
They basically have tho. Not the official codename which they will never but so many Ford execs already gone on record saying an all new Mustang coming in 2015.
I dont see them confirming much else. I think the only reason they are confirming anything as far as the AU announcement is to...
I'd agree with you that the coyote sees very minor changes for 2015. They will have their hands full with the international rollout, additional engine option and getting all of it certified for the various markets. Not to mention there is simply no need to go as high as 450.
I'm expecting...
When I hear "extremely aggressive Fusion" I think of this.
The 2013 NASCAR Fusion.
What's not to like? Wouldn't take much to make this look like a mean mustang.
I dunno about that. The difference now is that pony cars obviously aren't novel anymore so there selling a lot less in general.
I still think that most are pretty loyal to one brand or another. Most of my friends and myself included would never buy a camaro and I think the same goes for...
First let me agree with what the other guys have said, i enjoy reading the posts and learned a lot about the Z28 i didn't already know. Keep up the good work man.
And of course, I look forward to hearing about _______. That's part of why I'm here. Quick on the trigger and lots of good info...
It's too mainstream.
You really want Audi or one of the asian imports to make a car that has more muscle than Ford? B/c that's what will happen if we get that render up there.
The next camaro should get a big facelift, much bigger than this tweaked camaro would be.
And if it doesn't, yes it will see sales plummet. The trend has not been good for it the last few months.
I agree with you I think the percentages will shift with this generation. The actual amount of V8's should still be the same or more as currently, but the extra market share they capture will be because of better fuel economy and more mainstream styling appeal. Their goal from what i"ve read is...
Agree with you guys I see some S5, but really I see a lot of S197 in here still with that Fusion grill. I think all that camo is making them think this is bigger and doughier than it really is. Should be a smaller car and some more curves underneath.
This one is just kinda plain.
Great that's all we need. Let's bleed the enthusiasts for even more $$. We may be the most willing to pay for it but not necess the ones more able to afford it :tsk:
I think the 4 cylinder will basically be seen as an extension of the V6 and in the same category, almost like a package...
What exactly do you expect once the Camaro comes out, lets say in 2016 which I think is when people expect it?
It's just one model year. We may get slightly diff powertrain if history is an indication. However, what I really look forward to is the when they refresh the styling. Always...
